We have chosen to go with Retro for now for the following reasons: - It has combination of brick and render which we quite liked the look of - It has windows around the front of rumpus room upstairs and study downstairs - there is no balcony and more room for the rumpus - there is no extra charge for it. This we don't like about it: - It makes the house looks smaller compared to Coniston, Sterling etc. - We can't see the roof of the garage which also makes it look a bit smaller - The house doesn't look grand Did anyone else choose Retro facade and why? If you chose something else, what did you choose and why? Thanks Re: Building a Waldorf or Marriot by Porter Davis 6118Nov 24, 2014 10:45 am Doc Freeman Filthyfil Telecommunications / Supply Chain Don't forget a healthy side business in photographic prints. It'll be a challenge for you to make the Bolte / West Gate bridge look that great. This is my best bolte bridge shot. Taken with my phone so I'm sure you will do much better Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ 'Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.' If you chose something else, what did you choose and why? Thanks I quite like the retro windows too but ultimately I chose the chatsworth cos it looks a bit more grand. I'll rarely use the balcony but it's there if i need to (eg. hang christmas lights). And there's some much room inside already, I was ok to sacrifice some space for the 'look' 'Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult still, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.'
