And goes so well with the bricks . You might even start a new trend . Door handle have a nice touch too . So close now . Thanks Mels, but judging from pics on the net it was already elsewhere in the world and it's more of an individual statement than a trend. How are YOU btw?? We'd all LOVE an update ardie514 That door is awesome! I've been so excited to see it done and it did not disappoint Ardie, I actually prefer the colour on the inside, cos the sun makes it appear a shade lighter than it is. nikkis2000 It looks so lovely trees. Once again I am very envious of your lucky tenants! Do you have anyone lined up or do you have to start advertising soon? Thanks Nikki. We had someone express interest a while ago but they needed to move in by October. Wasn't going to happen. So this is our To Do list before we can rent it out! 1. Clean thoroughly. 2. Seal and paint the walls. 3. Organize building of the patio/alfresco area (we have a couple of quotes but subject to site measure). 4. Plan the garden/s and contact the landscapers (there's a package for some of it). 5. Crossover (concrete). 6. Decide on decking or concrete floor to front porch and alfresco floor- budget driven- waiting for final payment to "hit"! 7. Blinds/window treatments of some sort (see 6: depends on what's left ) 8. Go to a RE agent, ask them to advertise for us, vet the applicants, get the lease signed and stamped. When it's your own place you can delay doing some of it (like putting up temporary blinds etc). But basically we have to finish it all off before we can advertise. (Actually the tenant next door moved in when the house was still sitting in a sand pit, but her decision was probably driven by her previous lease finishing.) Anyway it was a couple of weeks before it was landscaped. DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Follow up question - any ideas on how to set up a portable air conditioner through this kind of window? 1 6241 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34273 |
