Re: wind rating 6Jun 01, 2022 10:29 pm A few extras, i.e.. braces, hold downs, brackets not a great deal plus a few days labour? how much are they slugging you to up grade? The funny thing about variations after the main (tender) event The builder gives back bugger all in credits and gouges on pricing extras. OT think Goldilocks (price range) , Not cold, nor hot, but just right, full disclosure of the engineering before you sign and then make NO CHANGES. That's how you deal with the builders biased contracts Don't confuse tender for tinder -> Swipe left cold or swipe right hot Tho on tender you still might get your pants pulled down ie. wind loadings (humour) Cheers Chris Designer,Engineer (Civil,Const & Envir),Builder,Concrete & Masonry Contract.Struct Repairs 10 years ago was a different software than we use now. it has had a lot of changes over the past years.
