My diffuser cover won't actually pop out and the only way to get to the light is to slide the cover- obviously once it is fixed in the niche you can't slide to cover off. Very confused about what to do. C U S T O M. C O R A L. If sliding is the only way then how are you ever going to replace LED strip if required? Have you tried to pop it out? We used a brand of diffuser called Havit. I used a Sika adhesive to stick the diffuser in place. Are you able to replace the diffusers? That would the the easiest solution? I would also make sure you get good quality IP67 LED strips so that hopefully you don't have to replace for a while. And the amount of pressure I had to put on it even to get it to crack- I don't even think I would be able to get the right angle once it is installed to even get that far lol. I'm annoyed because the diffuser cost me $160 for 4m and it basically isnt if any use because regardless of where I use it, I can only replace the LED strip if I can slide the cover off.... Thinking maybe I'll just ask for the case to be siliconed in rather than liquid nails, so I can just cut the silicone in the future if need be...? What scares me is having any strong glue bonding the diffuser directly to waterproofing membrane. I'd be happy to wear the cost of a new diffuser in the future if it was installed such that I could easily remove the whole thing. Thanks heaps for your help C U S T O M. C O R A L. I said I don't want to make the house as half of our residence (ie we sleep in the house and still use the bathroom and kitchen - more like kitchenette in the shed). We have lived in the shed for this long, can wait a bit longer. If decorating, deck and landscape are what's left to do when we move in, that's great! We've been in now for almost 6 weeks and very little has been done. I struggle to get much done at nights after the kids go to bed. Netflix vs paint brush? Brush never wins.
