Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 802Aug 04, 2014 9:20 am Gorgeous colours AKB. This is going to sound pathetic but I love putting flat packs together, find it very satisfying. When I was pregnant with DS2 I ordered so much Ikea stuff that my dad thought he would help me put it all together - he loves a flat pack as much as me so we were fighting over the stuff Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 803Aug 04, 2014 9:47 am Flatpacks are a recipe for frustration for us...DH put a bed with drawers and trundle together and it was missing vital screws...2 trips to local hardware no luck, then 2 trips into town to the furniture store hoping they could supply them without asking to return the whole thing... Can't wait to see the laundry pics Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 804Aug 04, 2014 10:36 am Thanks Everyone Asha - how do I get you to Perth stat???? It's a definite grey - Trees. It's $9k worth of ikea - Yikes (but they do have a special on and you get a 10% gift voucher) if you are clever you would order 90% of the product and then leave the balance for when you receive the voucher. I changed my mind and went back and forth on this forever. I actually changed colours and designs three times with Ikea while I was on the phone and had never put it up against the tile. The original style I wanted only came in off-white and I was concerned that it would clash with the tiles. The tiler wants the carcasses on the floor after he has finished screeding this week - so like most things on this build I finally committed due to a tradie pushing me to make a decision. (My joiner is pushing me for he kitchen plans as well - however I definitely know that I want the theme from the bathrooms to continue in the kitchen and thus I could get away with a little bit of shaker love in the laundry) PS It does make me laugh that I have no problem buying $9k worth of laundry site unseen but am still debating upgrading my WIR viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 805Aug 04, 2014 12:06 pm Good decision on the grey over the off white - I think you're right about the clash with the tile. It's going to look great. Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 807Aug 05, 2014 12:20 am Just checking in on you AKB. Laundry is going to be fabulous! There is no shame in getting excited about a pretty laundry. We get stuck in it for such a great amount of time, it will be great to have such a nice looking one. Hi Trixee I got the tiles from Designer Tile Studio in Clarkson - I think I like the idea of the white against wallpaper and a dark colour but you know me - that could easily change Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 813Aug 05, 2014 8:22 pm Rache You have exceptionally great taste AKB..Wow, I think I'd like to move into your laundry!!! Shucks thanks Rache And just to prove my life is two steps forward one step back - met with the tiler on site this am he is due to start screening tomorrow. Dropped my sister off at chemo this morning went to Morley to pick up a couple of smart tiles for tiler tomorrow went to welshpool to pick something up for my sister - ended up catching a lift with the tow truck driver to Osborne park and DH had to come and pick up me and my sister Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Hopefully it's just a coolant hose Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 814Aug 05, 2014 8:40 pm Oh AKB I feel your pain. I have a very similar pic of my rangie on a tow truck - though I dont dare post it as it will just give my partner more ammunition in the old "shoulda kept the landcruiser" debate Re: Perth NOR OB on 5 Acres - Laundry booked to arrive Sunda 815Aug 05, 2014 8:44 pm asha Oh AKB I feel your pain.
