Hi,
Wondering is there is a regulation or formula to work out the correct number of downpipes for a given roof area. The back and one side of my house under construction have roof areas around 80sqm each and only have 1 downpipe servicing each of them. They look like standard 90mm round downpipes. Location is Brisbane with 22.5 degree roof pitch.
Thinking about it I guess they could of angled the gutters on those sides to feed other downpipes that are just around the corner on the other sides. So talking whole house the roof area is 240sqm with a total of 7 downpipes? Sufficient?
