Hi, does anyone know of a no/low VOC wall sealer for 'White Set' plaster?

My painter says the white set is an acid cure plaster. You have to be careful what sealer you use, as most water based sealers react with the acid, and cause white patches.

We are wanting to over-coated with e-colour no-voc paint. It seems pointless to use oil based under this!!!

Thanks in advance

Dinga

Well to answer my own question... yes Rockote eco sealer does work on 'white set' walls. After taking the bull by the horns and trusting the company we bought 60L of eco sealer and 60L of low sheem 'eco style' to experiment with a NO VOC paint....

Well we are extremely happy :z: No fumes at all when painting both the sealer and top coat. Has stuck to the wall really well and has a nice even finish. It was a bit 'slippery' on the roller, but you got used to it.

So highly recommend this paint.

A friend was paint his house at the same time... with a gas mask and meths for clean up... my eyes watered the second I walked in the door!
