It was a little more then we wanted to spend. We have decided to upgrade our kitchen for around $3000 which includes kitchen bench top the 'snow', silk finish laminate in 'polar white', handless kitchen cupboards and draws and an undermount kitchen sink. We also decided to upgrade our carpet range to silver instead of the bronze range for an extra $1300. We decided not to upgrade our garage door as coral wanted an extra $1100 for an additional locking system and we found it on eBay for only $290 including postage. We are still waiting for our plans to come back from the private certifier, hopefully it all gets approved and we can start our build. We have a rough start date for the 5/5/17, which should have us in before Christmas ? Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 26Mar 26, 2017 3:20 pm Hopefully the certifier is quicker than council. Took us 6.5 weeks can't wait to see all your house starting up there! In before Xmas is definitely do-able!!! Building with Perry homes: viewtopic.php?t=84756 Coral lodged our plans on the 7/3/17 and we received a phone call last week to say they are only waiting on a couple of things to go through. We have been driving past once a week just to see if anything has changed in our selection. Once we start building it might be a few more times a week. Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 28Mar 26, 2017 3:50 pm NicMac03 Feels great to be getting closer doesnt it! Look forward to seeing your selections. Sounds like you will have a beautiful kitchen Wish i looked into handleless. Our Coral colour consultant suggested it, I think it will be worth the extra money in the end ? Although noticed a few already have council approval. And have also been told by certifier we will now need a retaining wall, only 40-50cm high so no engineering but its 10m long and a pain to figure out how to make it not a waste of space. Retaining wall will be about 12m long. Also just noticed they slipped in more downpipes, gone from from 8 to 10. I think my partner said its been 7 weeks now, and we have been watching the council website with a few getting though in under a month. If 210 days holds true, that will be 15 Dec. (SS is Chris) Sounds like we need to organise going out to trim some grass. PS. Been watching the council DA's and there looks like there is currently 10 Coral so far, with us and one other being the only ones ready at this stage. We should be moving in when you start! If you move like the 3 corals in arrow field st they went super fast! Good luck Re: Noosa 26 @ Cliftleigh Meadows 40May 19, 2017 6:06 pm Our sort of flat block is now flat... with a huge drop off to the garage. I'll be digging holes starting Tuesday for this retaining wall. |
