Hehe Charli, that would be me if I ever got married. I'm so indecisive it's not funny. I had colours today, I have just emailed my admin to change my flooring . Love my externals but I'm not very confident on the inside, ugh choices overload.

Hubby was so over it by the time we got married, but I had a big task, I had size 6 to size 16 and a pregnant bridesmaid that I needed to accomodate for lol

Hi Dawn, I read your comment on stamp duty reduction in the other thread.

I am not sure when your land was settled but there is a catch with stamp duty reduction.

I am eligible for FHOG and thought I will get a stamp duty reduction but when I spoke to a person at State Revenue Office, she said I can get the reduction only if I get the completion certificate within 12 months of the land settlement date.

My land was settled in Dec 2015 so I can't claim my stamp duty back :(

Mine are also going to be unhappy... cons - loose this huge big backyard that they get free range of whenever someone is home... pro - they will get to spend more time running around inside, the dog won't annoy them so much.. and they will have a lot more peace..:)


This is the little boy I want to adopt :) he kept licking my hand while I was trying to clean his hutch.. such a sweetheart

Oooh.. that sucks! My settlement was February, so there's a chance I could make it but also a chance I won't :( will just have to hope for the best.

I was suppose to pay a $1000 levy, my builder agreed to pay it upfront and then invoice me for it later so nothing got slowed down... and I never got the bill, so maybe they've decided to just cover it because it took so long to start my house... or I might receive a surprise bill one day :P

Found some stools at Big W today, they look alright (white and wood) like the Kmart ones, but they are $49 each.. not sure!!

I really like the Kmart stools, but couldn't find them at the local Kmart or online. They only have the black ones :( But you have opened my eyes up that I can get stuff at Kmart, and not spend mega bucks.. :)

Yeah, I think they must have sold out quick. That's okay, I'll keep an eye out, they will pop up.

So went back past the ex-display place today and picked up this hall table for $290 :)

I think it will look very nice in my entryway.

Also bought all my towels and bath mats today, they had a 20% off sale :)

I'm done shopping.. I swear :P (except the stools) Just have to figure out what I'm doing with this dining table. They had some nice ones at the ex-display place for $700-$1000.. but mhmm..

Not sure about the one I've picked out at FoF.



In good news, my builder returns to work on Monday :DDD YAY!!!

7 weeks to go (give or take.. XD) I really need the quote from them to know have I'm positioned financially.. hopefully they can get me something by the end of the week.. may have to extend my mortgage :P
