Is it all through out the house or in certain secrions Only upstairs almost every room has been affected. It's obvious our frame was not straight and not plumbed before plaster was put on. It's hard to see with the naked eye, you need to have a close look at the plastered walls to notice it, but place a level and watch it rock back and forth, some walls were out by close to 30mm. Thats massive!! Did you frame get a lot of rain or anything while it was being built? I know myself that if I did that sort of effort in my job I would be fired! Yes our frame was exposed to weather for almost 8 weeks, the reason was because our original SS quit and by the time the new SS was appointment and him settling in it took a while. I feel sorry for the house next to me building wth carlisle homes, they have had the timber there or nearly 3 months and its all warping and they havent even started to build it yet! No doubt they will use it as well Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 427Jan 30, 2017 10:59 am It's been a stressful 8 weeks with all our repairs not being addressed properly, the key factor was our incompetent SS, who today has quit! He simply was not cut out for the job and it's good to know others won't go through what we have during our construction. Our construction manager is now taking over our build and we hope to have all our issues resolved quickly and we can finally move in. Fingers crossed for handover in Feb! Yep SS is practically a project manager and it's a hard job and not everyone is cut out for it, it's just a shame that he let it go this far, just think about how many houses must be built poorly and no one else picked up on it! Such a shame! However I hope he does find another job if he had a family Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 429Jan 31, 2017 10:25 am stayxtrue Mclaren77 It's been a stressful 8 weeks with all our repairs not being addressed properly, the key factor was our incompetent SS, who today has quit! Re: New Build with Henley ( Palace Q1) 433Feb 06, 2017 3:11 pm Not at this stage, other than it's going to be fixed but I haven't noticed any trades onsite. All my new furniture that I've pre purchased needs to be delivered.
