Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 27, 2016 3:46 pm Hey Guys I'm So excited were building a Simonds Palisade with study upgrade we just paid the first deposit and soon to be in gallery this is where my questions start.... How much are the upgrades ? Stone Bench? Main bathroom moving the shower, bath ? Extra Power points? Cat 2 Bricks? Paint walls different to the roof ? Do they have a bath upgrade for a bigger one ? were trying to get a rough idea on how much is a average amount to spend in the gallery were planing to keep what we can in standard colors and what not which brings me to the next question What are some of the standard color rangers for paints, tiles, carpet and bricks? Who's built the palisade how are you liking it what have you done ? Re: Simonds Palisade Gallery help 2Aug 28, 2016 9:45 pm Congrats!! Love the palisade! I can only help with a few of those! We upgraded to cat2 bricks, only cost an extra $470 for the whole house (we're also on regional pricing, there's also been a price rise since then and probably depends on the size of the house, so it might be different! ) Extra power points, an extra double point was $66, making an existing double point into a quad was $51 or $114 for a whole quad point. An extra data point was $149, we also had to have an extra circuit breaker because we added so many power points and that was an extra $250! Oops! Overall we went $30,000 over base price, including driveway, rough estimate of site costs, altering the floorplan and bushfire protection, but we spent $8,000 at gallery. We got a promotion with a few freebies. We didn't get stone though There's a few more extras in my thread too where I put the price, like heating and benchtops and extensions etc. viewtopic.php?t=80646 (my thread) Where abouts are you building? make sure you take loooots of photos at gallery!! Were building on phillip island. looking at asking how much to push the side lounge wall out to make room wider Adding door to the hallway Pantry door Shorten the side of the front fascade window so I can put my tv on the wall without the bedroom door smashing into it. we want to do the rear house upgrade but no idea on cost. Cupboad door on microwave spot as we wont put the microwave that low lil bubs would drive me nuts pressing at it. We go to gallery next month im excited but so nervous about how much gallery will cost were quite close to budget. Simonds Palisade Gallery help 4Sep 03, 2016 6:08 pm We're in Adelaide, the rear of house upgrade is $2500 here for the palisade. We ended up removing it because the facade upgrade was more important to us and we couldn't justify the cost of having both.

I've bought a house 2 and a bit years ago and last year we had some major water damage on a converted pergola area… 0 7936 Yes, unless you are in a low intensity rainfall area or the area is protected from rain. Do you have access to NCC Part 2 or can you download it? I can email you a copy… 10 12531 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7171 |
