Just like your pic, you'd think there be a frame around the window but there isn't!!!! It's hidden behind plaster! lol. Just the effort to rip out the cornices, remove the toilets, remove the mirrors, tile then get everything installed again. Just too much hassle. As for plaster boards vs gyprock I have no idea. But I do know that they use different stuff in the real wet areas like the bathrooms compared to the rest of the house. Toilets got the normal stuff.
