It is a standard practice (if you are tech savvy)...I am putting a data point in every room, that is around 8-10 cat5 cables terminating at one point. Linen cupboard is the best place to hide all the messy cables..

I decide to go with burnished wood for kitchen cabinets and handles will be chrome finish.. My only worry is the frontage...i hope it will look good...fingers crossed... Ah, we did that deliberately on ours but kept the roof height with the house (so we could put taller doors in to cover drive-through of caravans/boats/trailers/cars etc down the track) - you'll likely need two steps down rather than one as 300mm is quite a lot!
