Browse Forums Building A New House Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 101Mar 28, 2017 5:59 pm Just checked the SPEAR website and stage 2 and 3 have been registered at land Victoria!! Woohoo it's so close to being titled. Feel sorry for all those residents that have been delayed for so long. Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 103Apr 09, 2017 8:24 pm 323 eliston Hi guys we are in stage 3 of eliston Hi 323, You guys must be super excited that your land has now (finally) titled! Hopefully you'll start construction shortly. Are you going to the meet and greet at the end of April? Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 105Apr 21, 2017 6:37 pm We have a driveway (kind off) and we've got street lights. Just wish this rainy weather would go away. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 106Apr 27, 2017 9:23 pm So exciting for you firsttime_homies1401! Hopefully you guys are in before you know it! We've just been told our title date is now March '18 instead of Aug '17. Not really surprising when they don't appear to have completed any works anywhere near our block...one day! Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 107Apr 28, 2017 3:04 pm TandH So exciting for you firsttime_homies1401! Hopefully you guys are in before you know it! We've just been told our title date is now March '18 instead of Aug '17. Not really surprising when they don't appear to have completed any works anywhere near our block...one day! Whaaattt!!!! How can they delay the title for that long. We're still scheduled for July and haven't received any correspondence to suggest otherwise. What is the delay based on? Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 108Apr 28, 2017 3:29 pm We didn't receive any correspondence either, but it seems most others in our stage/release did, so I emailed Eliston myself to confirm. Some bs about an "unexpected issue in the delivery of a critical piece of sewer infrastructure." So disappointing! Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 109Apr 28, 2017 6:33 pm Just another excuse I'm guessing as they're trying to release stage 4, 5, 6 together which is taking a lot longer than expected. I feel sorry for the residents who've signed contracts and may potentially have to pay thousands to hold there fixed prices. Who were you building with tandh? Also I saw on the Facebook page about the get together. Did you end up going? Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 110Apr 30, 2017 3:16 pm Recently spoke to Mark from NPP and Eliston office. The 'delay' with equipment for stage 7 doesn't have any affect for stage 4,5,6 which should title as expected. Unfortunately with the delays at council issuing statement of compliances I'm not holding my breath. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 111Apr 30, 2017 3:35 pm Hopefully, if any delay at all, it will only be a short one for you! Fingers crossed for you anyway. 🙂 It just seems so far away for us now. Likely at least 12 months before we can even start. we know it happens with these new estates, but we probably weren't quite expecting such a big delay. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 112Apr 30, 2017 3:36 pm We have signed a building contract with Burbank, so the delay instantly cost us a few thousand dollars. We couldn't make the catch up unfortunately with work commitments etc, but hope to be able to go to one sometime 🙂 Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 113Apr 30, 2017 5:37 pm TandH We have signed a building contract with Burbank, so the delay instantly cost us a few thousand dollars. We couldn't make the catch up unfortunately with work commitments etc, but hope to be able to go to one sometime I would contact the builder and advise them this delay is completely out of your control. Issues with statement of compliance and land title office are standard but a 6 MONTH delay due to equipment needed to complete the estate is a bit different. Regarding the catch up we were overseas but I'm sure we've got plenty of time to catch up once we all move in. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 114Apr 30, 2017 5:54 pm I am very confused now... I think i have been sent the wrong Email from NPP ... We got an email stating that Stage 4 was delayed to Nov... but we brought a block in Centrepiece which is stage 7 so I believe as per TandH post and all the other getting emails about stage 7 our title date will be March 2018... TandH what release are you in??? I am one of the lucky ones and still in draft stage, so i can adjust the start date accordingly, but just need to get the truth from NPP... Am I Nov-17 or Mar-18 As per Firsttimes post earlier this is the order of release First was harvest Second was Parkside Third was Selino Fourth was Spring Fifth was Springfield Sixth was Mayune Seventh was Centrepiece Eighth was Kenyan Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 115Apr 30, 2017 6:04 pm Thanks for the advice. I might give our consultant a call and chat about it tomorrow. Still happy we locked in our build price and it seems the fees at Burbank are fairly reasonable but I'll give them a buzz to discuss. We are the Kenyan release. We STILL haven't received the email, even though I've requested it through eliston direct, we heard about the delay via the residents Facebook page. So might be best to speak to eliston to confirm. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 116Apr 30, 2017 6:13 pm Ok... I will be still be double checking with Eliston or NPP as I am not sure whether the email I got is correct... Our draft quote with Henley locks the price till Nov but if it is going to now being March I have to talk to them and see what can be worked out. Re: Eliston Estate - Clyde, Melbourne 117Apr 30, 2017 6:32 pm We signed our contract in December so our price is locked for 12 months from then. We then get charged $2000 per financial quarter we are delayed. We only signed then as they had a great deal where we paid a certain amount for inclusions and they matched it by almost 1.5, so we got lots of extras. We have been lead to believe that Burbank are quite reasonable with their fees and waiving them, but time will tell! Good luck with Henley! Hey pwcc Can I ask which house you're looking at building with Henley? We have Stephanie as our admin and she's been great. Our 12 month price freeze also finishes in oct/nov. Your house will be fully upgraded out. I've heard of people paying in excess of $3k per quarter with some builders so $2k (even though you'd rather have that menu in your pocket) is not too bad. We chose Henley for their great standard inclusions and Cat1 range. Going for a drive through the estate there's a lot of residents building with homebuyers centre. Hi Firsttime, We are going with the Carmelle 28 from Henley .. they got one up the road at their display centre at Berwick Waters. We not got an Admin yet, still dealing with our SC and making the last of the changes, then we pay the next payment of $650 to lock it in for real and move onto do our colors and Electrical etc... Nice you got a 12month freeze we where told 6 months, but was able to get that extended to Nov without an issue, so long as Elistons new timeline is an Honest timeline we should be ok. I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 45567 It's all about wireless, self install now.
