What and where are you building Charlibear? Do you have a thread yet? I really liked the concrete/cement looking tiles. I think I want a raw/ industrial/ Scandinavian tye of look. Who knows how it will come together but can't wait to find out.

Re: Coral Daydream 32 22May 30, 2016 8:23 am I'm building in Naughtons Gap, Northern NSW, I'm building a modified Coolum design with GJ Gardner Grafton Office. I would have loved to build the day dream but my husbands brother just built one and the coral office in Ballina weren't not helpful at all so we walked away so I swoon on here when I see daydream builds. No build thread yet as we aren't building until later on in the year around October. I do selections on Thursday so may start one to post my selections and to stop hijacking everyone's thread lol. I think you will easily achieve the look you are going for with the selections you have chosen Coral Daydream 32 23May 31, 2016 10:52 am Your colours look beautiful Bec. Absolutely love the dark ensuite it will be a knock out. Mmmm it's a valid point about making the skirts and cornices white and keeping your wall colour. The day dream over the road from me has hog bristle half for everything and it's lovely. If you can change it happy days, if you can't don't worry it will look fab Hope things are trucking along with your approvals. He has been great with everything. I bet you can't wait to get started. Looking forward to starting to follow. Re: Coral Daydream 32 25May 31, 2016 3:24 pm Tribe7 Your colours look beautiful Bec. Thanks Tribe, that means a lot from you with your gorgeous sense of styling. I waited for Coral to call me all day yesterday after I rang in the morning to inquire about the approval, for them to tell me that they haven't received any paperwork yet and that any paperwork with dates issued probably won't be ready for maybe a week. Hmmmm, not happy. Hoping they don't try and hit me with admin fees!!!! Re: Coral Daydream 32 26May 31, 2016 9:25 pm Ohhhh your too kind Bec. Oh bugger that's a pain in the butt about the paper work, I wouldn't be accepting a penalty charge from them when admin is the cause of the delay. Crossing fingers for you that everything happens quickly. Re: Coral Daydream 32 27Jun 10, 2016 7:45 am Found you Oh you've been going as long as we have. Hopefully your build commences soon. I love your colour selections. We are having subway tiles too, in our kitchen and butters pantry. Really looking forward to following ? My Homeone Thread - Re: Coral Daydream 32 28Jun 10, 2016 6:01 pm This afternoon, after about 18 months since we deposited o. Our land we have been given a start date for 30/6, 20 days away. So excited for things about to start. Re: Coral Daydream 32 33Jun 16, 2016 4:45 pm I have been wondering about the retaining wall that we have been required to build that is on our plan. Part if it was meant to be done before we start but coral have said that aren't to Start until I speak to our ss. I have questioned the wall all along as I don't think it will be needed with our neighbour more than likely needing the same cut and fill and will only end up supporting a fence. Even the landscaper we have lined up didn't think we will need it. Anyway...good news today. We heard from our ss, and he has been and had a look and the block and doesn't think we will need one. He is happy for us to wait and see how we go, and if we find we need it later on, can organise it then. Also mentions our cut is booked for the 30th and will have our safety induction that morning. All good news so far. 2 weeks today and finally things are happening. Can't wait to see how your tiles turn out! I also pick alaska charcoal for floors and wall but piked out last min it and switched to Luxor charcoal which isn't too dissimilar... Just doesn't throw as much blue. And I also had cooper grey to go with it too! I love that tile! It's gonna look fab. Kinda regretting not sticking with it now! C U S T O M. C O R A L. Your block looks so lovely and flat, what size is it? Only 13 more sleeps to go Thanks tribe. It does have a small fall, about 1.5m across the whole block. It is 769m2 so a good size. It doesn't all fit in the picture that I took. And I know....less than 2 weeks!!! Re: Coral Daydream 32 39Jun 17, 2016 9:04 pm MrsJM That's great if you can dodge the retaining wall bullet! We had a very similar fall across our lot too, they cut deep at the front and made the pad and we only had to put a retain in our front garden as we could batter the rest away from the house at the back. Great size block too, plenty of space for your small people to play. I hope your counting down the days Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13775 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4352 |
