It came to over $60,000, and we managed to dwindle it down to only $23,000 for our Prestart. Wow, that's a huge cull. Im tipping ours will be excessively high as well & will need to get a big fat red marker out to start crossing item off Stilettos & Bricks -our Building Journey Blog https://stilettosbricks.com viewtopic.php?f=31&t=85183&hilit=secret+harbour Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 86Sep 12, 2016 10:07 pm Lol no worries at all, they're trying to make me use QStone, but my point is if I'm paying a $500 admin fee because they don't have an account, I should be able to use my choice not theirs. Who would have thought getting a plain white bench would be so hard ( their Corian 'upgrade' came back at $11000! & its acrylic?!) We have full height ensuite, bathroom & powder room tiling & the ensuite is all rectified porcelain. We weren't excessive but managed to get pretty much everything we wanted Putting as much in the original contract definitely makes a huge difference. We paid extra for frameless in the ensuite and had framed in the other two bathrooms. I don't think it was a lot to upgrade to frameless. Re: B & D's First build with HGWA 91Sep 13, 2016 11:38 am We paid extra for framed ironically! I didn't want the clips holding them on so upgraded to lovely neat frames.
