Re: Building the Turin with Simonds in SA 30May 25, 2016 8:14 pm Did you choose Monument to go with your roof for gutters etc? Re: Building the Turin with Simonds in SA 32May 25, 2016 8:24 pm cass712 Marshall5858 Did you choose Monument to go with your roof for gutters etc? Yes, we did choose monument for the gutters. The other option was woodland grey. Was told they both matched. Ahh thanks. We made a guess with Monument so I'm relieved to hear that it goes well Re: Building the Turin with Simonds in SA 33May 25, 2016 8:46 pm Hi Cass! Just found your thread. Your home is going to be lovely! I didn't know they had built showhomes in Mt Barker. And a Harcrest!? Oh I bet Pam's been through it a few times (we built the same time together) And I wanted a bench in the shower too. I saw that when we went to Melbourne to look at an Avalon there (they didn't have one in Adelaide then). They had an Avalon in Melbourne that had it! But it was too late for us because we'd signed the contract and already made too many changes which they kindly accommodated How excitement, it's going to be lovely and you've got some great people here building with you at the same time which really helps Re: Building the Turin with Simonds in SA 34May 26, 2016 12:43 pm Hi Cass712, Luuuurve, all your colour selections! Its been over 5 weeks since plans were submitted. Im actually starting to get a little concerned as i have been checking council website for updates and there were two houses submitted after ours that have already been approved. Fingers crossed we hear something this week and there's no problems. Re: Building the Turin with Simonds in SA 39Aug 14, 2016 12:53 pm Oh that sucks, hopefully there's nothing wrong! Surely if there was a problem you would know by now. It's probably just the council working at their regular pace can't hurt to chase it up if it takes much longer though!
