Our slab also went down the week before Christmas but our build doesn't look nearly as advanced because they build almost exclusively with double brick here and we're expecting bricks and frames on-site this week. Re: Building with Simonds in Adelaide 696Jan 24, 2017 6:58 pm There was 3 of them working, they spent a couple hours putting all the cross pieces of wood on (dont know what they are called? purlins?) and then they used a conveyor belt to get all the tiles up the top. Then 2 guys were laying the tiles and one guy was going along all the edges and chopping the angles off. Every time I looked they had progressed.
