From Excavation to slab down was 14 days for you. So hopefully we can get out slab down by early next week...round about 2 weeks. Building Casaview Denison 30 https://fortdenison.wordpress.com/about Re: Casaview Homes 328Nov 15, 2016 8:19 pm xyz BTW. When our inspector said he had never heard about Casaview, s.s. told him Casaview had 100 in construction at the moment. For comparison: Clarendon is building 800 (but in all states they operate) By comparing invoice numbers issued by head office towards our property I can conclude that in reality it is closer to 80 houses in construction by Casaview. Very excited to see our piers and plumbing go in! Not aware of road closure? Are they closing off Angelina all together? I received a notice regarding the lot next to me a month or so back but couldnt work out what exactly they were doing. Any further progress on your front? Casabuild Re: Casaview Homes 333Dec 05, 2016 4:34 pm Ash05 Oh wow nice one Where are you building again Ours would start early next year that's what we have been told anyway Hey Ash05 it's on Mary Rose street the st before Angelina Court Re: Casaview Homes 334Dec 12, 2016 10:17 pm Hi All, - for those of you building double storey houses- I wanted to check whether anyone has the following specified on their plans construction joint in ceiling (due to a concealed metal beam) Thanks!! Re: Casaview Homes 335Dec 14, 2016 3:02 pm Yes, we built the larger of the Bennelong design and it has a control joint running little over 5 metres onthe kitchen ceiling. Did you find it as ugly as I do? When you went through the construction plans do you remember Casaview highlighting that it was going to be there and how it looks like? They have patched my one up a bit. I am going to look at it today to seeif it looks better. Re: Casaview Homes 337Dec 20, 2016 7:50 am The high ceilings kinda take it away from normal line of sight and it is only glaring if you know it is there. You kinda get used to it and I have never been asked once why it is there. I was informed in the final meeting that it will be there because Casaview used quite a lot of steel beams inside as well. Re: Casaview Homes 338Dec 26, 2016 2:01 pm The time it takes to get council approval depends upon a few different things such as your site, your project and the local council area. Also, a lot of councils have had a hard time keeping their DA's on track while fighting the NSW government's forced council mergers. Most councils take about 6 weeks for DA consent if your project meets LEP/DCP. You can find out more about private certifiers and council approvals here: http://www.realestatestrategist.com.au Hope this helps Re: Casaview Homes 339Dec 26, 2016 10:07 pm Amy2015 Hi All, - for those of you building double storey houses- I wanted to check whether anyone has the following specified on their plans construction joint in ceiling (due to a concealed metal beam) Thanks!! We are building a smaller (if not smallest) Denison, we have a "concealed timber beam", I hope no C.J. will be there.
