I've been dealing with the people down in Point Cook because I live in the West. I'll be interested to know what the green ducting is all about myself. Haven't seen it before. What facade is your place going to have? Dave, the response was that the larger green one is used for refrigerated air conditioning ducting, which is in the roof space, for extra insulation. That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for the reply. Look forward to updates on your place as you have them. Re: Building Queenscliff 416 with Fairhaven Homes 51Jun 03, 2016 8:38 pm Got an email from our local Council this morning advising of some "housekeeping" issues that required rectification (the temp fence had "migrated" on to the footpath, crushed rock was spilling on to the footpath and a section of footpath had subsided due to the numerous trucks, excavators & heavy demo bins going over it since January). A quick call to our SS and 11am site meeting with him resulted in him sending the attached photos of it being rectified by 1.45pm and the Council happy. Hats off to our prompt & responsive Site Supervisor Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our build thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=82369&p=1525857&hilit=fairhaven#p1525857 Re: Building Queenscliff 416 with Fairhaven Homes 52Jun 05, 2016 7:44 pm We've now got a roof on the garage & alfresco, a front door (temporary) and a bath hob. Re: Building Queenscliff 416 with Fairhaven Homes 55Jun 05, 2016 9:51 pm whitefresh Did you find you needed to upgrade much with Fairhaven? Thanks Whitefresh. We probably didn't need to, but we wanted to upgrade and include a lot of the options that the display home had which added around another $100K to the base price. We've now got a fully wrapped house and the upstairs windows have now been installed. The bricklayer is booked to start the lower level next week, plaster is booked to start in late June and the stairs & kitchen are booked for early July.
