How different does it feel with gyprock!? Love it. I'm wishing I square set my ceilings. Rawson once quoted me $10k and then coral told me they don't even do it- spoke to the gyprockers onsite and they said it's not even that hard! Lol. Yours is gonna look stunning! Interesting. Might hit up the gypies onsite to see if I can do a cashie when the time comes. =D I'm now wishing we got square set as well (we only have square set in the wet areas) - I wonder if it's expensive? I am looking at the preliminary contract and wanted to check if these sound correct to you - we picked up so many errors, including mathematical errors by our sales consultant, am not sure can trust her to be correct. I have a feeling that we may not have credited certain items which should have been, plus questioning some costs. WIll definitely go back to her anyway to enquire. 1. Powder room to include a shower $3,500 Wc door is moved to the opening of the powder room a shower and vanity are added plus a slightly larger window. We lost the linen closet and no mention has been made regarding credit for the linen (note that the cosultant previously mentioned that linen closet addition costs $1000) 2. Amendment to pantry layout $3200 Removing standard melamine shelves and adding 1900mm laminate base cupboards, overhead cupboards and laminate benchtop. Tiled splashpack (is that part of a standard pantry?) SS sink & mixer Linen closet will be considered as pantry shelving 3. Main bathroom upstairs split vertically to 2 smaller ensuites Between us, I think she missed out adding extra wc and shower cubicle, as I do not see that anywhere!! Have to ask, too bad she is off for next 2 days.. Anyway Looking forward to your reply! Re: Our Nolan 1053Oct 12, 2016 11:14 am I'll pull out my contract shortly and heck it out. Is it the Nolan 50 you are building? Our Nolan viewtopic.php?p=1516376%23p1516376 Re: Our Nolan 1054Oct 12, 2016 1:37 pm leelee116 I'll pull out my contract shortly and heck it out. That includes changing sitting room to guest bedroom. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My pantry fit out as basic, was laminate cupboards with Stone top. Single sink & tap with a 600mm oven only $4700 Our Nolan viewtopic.php?p=1516376%23p1516376 Re: Our Nolan 1057Oct 15, 2016 9:33 pm leelee116 Hi Leelee Many thanks for the replies. How is the build going? The costs you mentioned are close enough.. we just did an estimate for upgrades and almost had a heart attack at $70k worth of 'essentials' upgrades, if that makes sense!! Kitchen was meant to go in Wednesday last week but they didn't turn up. Ss will chase them up so hopefully this week it will be in. Yeah the upgrades add up so quickly and easily. We signed our tender yesterday, felt both relieved as well as if we put a noose around the neck lol Let the roller coster begin - with a bub and toddler in tow Re: Our Nolan 1060Oct 18, 2016 11:26 am Still no sign of kitchen But they have started installing the doors. Stuffed up again. I meant to have clear glazing on laundry door but didn't. And not sure I like the internal feature doors yet. You've already mentioned it. Sue them.
