Our Acacia build - viewtopic.php?t=86619 Yes let him know you want to ask the plumber. Most SS would be fine with it. Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 463Feb 28, 2017 1:43 pm shazaw Going to Don's Tiles just to see what they have for Burbank tiles selection. Called to Don's yesterday checking if we needed appointment to go into the studio, apparently not needed just to browse and the red stickers are standard for Burbank. Do they have a lot of choices or limited? Build Thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Landscape Thread : viewtopic.php?f=19&t=86133 Hey, did Burbank organise an appointment with Don's for you? Looks like some jobs are with Don's, and others are with Tile Direct Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 464Feb 28, 2017 6:10 pm Uchiha Hey, did Burbank organise an appointment with Don's for you? Looks like some jobs are with Don's, and others are with Tile Direct Not yet, I do wonder which company I will end up with. Don's tile don't have 300 * 600 as standard ( I do preferred 300 by 600 ). They have 450 by 450 and 300 by 450, tiles choices are not bad but still I wanted 300 by 600. We do have complimentary electrical appointment in two weeks. We do wants to add and change few items. ATM we have two fans in outdoor living area. We decided to move one to alfresco area. Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 465Feb 28, 2017 6:42 pm Could of sworn I saw 300x600 in red tags but the only photos I have are 330x660(red) and 200x600(upgrade). Guess i was wrong... Well I got told we are using tile direct. I think Trimum reported 300x600 is avail. And I did my electrical with Vaccaro. Happy to send you their prices if you want for preplanning, just drop me a PM Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 466Feb 28, 2017 8:20 pm Uchiha Could of sworn I saw 300x600 in red tags but the only photos I have are 330x660(red) and 200x600(upgrade). Happy to send you their prices if you want for preplanning, just drop me a PM Yes tiles direct do 300x600 and there was quite a bit of choice. I really want 600x600 or maybe even 800x800 for the whole downstairs (except the front bedroom) so am preparing myself for more $$$ upgrade! We have our electrical appointment with vaccaro later this month and looking forward to it. Were you able to upgrade plug sockets and light switches? Our Acacia build - viewtopic.php?t=86619 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 468Mar 01, 2017 7:23 am Thanks that does help, I've had a look at their website and they do the switches and sockets I want, may just use these for the living and hallway areas to keep upgrade costs down! We have allocated loads of sockets and lights that we have already included in our build so hopefully may be able to take one or two out and save some $ Our Acacia build - viewtopic.php?t=86619 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 469Mar 09, 2017 10:52 pm We have frames for ground floor. One bad news was they miss out ordering frames for out door living area. They are always forgetting about out door living area. Our Acacia build - viewtopic.php?t=86619 Thank you Trimum, saw one of the Burbank house plan that was used for frames by carpenters has Oran Park address in our rubbish pile. Naturally took a look at it and it was another Burbank build and not your. There must be a lot of Burbank build in Oran Park. Hopefully you will start soon, so we can have our houses finished together. Not sure how long we have to wait. This waiting game never end. Build Thread : viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81624 Re: KDR Sekisui House - St George 477Mar 10, 2017 8:11 am It does depend on what else is in the area and how much load that particular member is picking up (that portion of the house might be well over-designed). But that piece of timber is not doing much at all - the crack is almost all the way through to the other side, so assuming it's needed even a little bit, it should come out. BTW, with your outdoor area - you'll really have to keep an eye on that - it's obviously not in their system properly. Make sure any electrical, water, gas points are put in as those services go through the rest of the house. It won't ruin the structural integrity of the frame. I am looking for feedback on them from others who have built with them. 0 13301 |
