Your entrance door stain looks amazing.. what colour is that? Nice color choice for the media room wall.. are you planning to paint the ceiling bit darker? Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 469Jan 11, 2017 10:10 am Raku looks fantastic! Can I too know door colour stain please? And is it the same as portico ? Your entrance door stain looks amazing.. what colour is that? Nice color choice for the media room wall.. are you planning to paint the ceiling bit darker? The entry door is merbau stain ? Ben is building a merbau deck on the portico as well as out under the alfresco so we did it to match that. Hadn't actually thought of that, might wait until we are in there and see what we think of the darknessas to weather or not we do the ceiling.. our carpets are dark as is our black leather lounge so we don't want to overdo it lol. We do have bright movie related prints for the wall behind the lounge so we'll see how it looks once they are up ? Can I too know door colour stain please? And is it the same as portico ? Front door stain is merbau, the timber above the portico is eko-deck so it's pre-coloured... the color was called red rock I believe (which scared the living daylights out of me because I really didn't want "red" but it was the closest to merbau and looks to match quite well so far!) But we have the same tile for all wet areas except bathrooms are floor to ceiling Lindsay & Ben (Building a Noosa 26 at Wallis Creek, Gillieston Heights) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81467&p=1524570#p1524570 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 473Jan 11, 2017 2:40 pm RegVic I am a silent follower of your thread... then you mentioned media room ... Coral Homes Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens Gold Coast Viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81406 We selected it at colour stage and it was $154 due to the "deep based colour charge" Lindsay & Ben (Building a Noosa 26 at Wallis Creek, Gillieston Heights) https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=81467&p=1524570#p1524570 Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 475Jan 11, 2017 4:48 pm Ben+Lindsay BrownDog77 Raku looks fantastic! Thankyou looks great Re: Building a Noosa 26 with Coral Homes 476Jan 24, 2017 6:13 am External painted, kitchen cupboards finally complete and rangehood in... can't see in the bathrooms etc but all of our appliances, bath, sinks etc have been sitting in our garage for about a week now so may or may not have been installed. Electrical was done on Thursday (downlights in eaves, power points, battens in bedrooms that will become fans, 1 downlight in each room & we are having an electrician come in later and add downlights to each room) PCI walk through booked for the 3rd but Ben got a call from SS saying some "kitchen stuff" has been delayed and he has to reshuffle things to hopefully still get things done in time. Love the outside colours similar to what we are wanting, but with tiles not colour bond. Glad to see it's looks so good. Must be excited? We are living in the same street as the build now so really enjoying our walks up the street to check things out. Fingers crossed, but not desperate because I know how much work we have ahead of us once we are in as Ben has only just nearly finished the landscaping for the house we are living in now (My parents MOJO they built as an investment). PCI in few weeks is an awesome news!!! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13745 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1766 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74688 |
