Thanks Hayleyyyy! Unfortunately I just received a reply that my contract wont be back until 4th february now so another month of waiting. Luckily i have a years lease on the place im renting back from the sale of my place till september so I hope I'll have enough time till handover. I thought there would be a delay on my land being settled but that was the easiest thing! How long did you have to wait before you got your contract?

Thanks hayley, it certainly is exciting! How much longer do you have to wait for your land to be registered? Was it originally meant to be march or april?

Hi everyone. Been stalking a few threads and decided it's time to start one of my own. I'm building the Avoca 25 in Gainsborough Greens - Eco Gully Stage - in Pimpama Gold Coast. Is anyone building in Gainsborough Greens?

Hey hayleyyyy, all good! Signed a contract last weekend and got tiles appt tomorrow, colours on tuesday and electrical next thursday! Certifier has been engaged and just waiting to hear back from the developer on covenant approval. Have you settled on your land yet? Ive been so busy i havent had time to catch up on other threads yet! That's great!! All happening so quickly for you! Unfortunately no.. We are nearly upto road it's ETA is 11/3 but apparently GCCC have changed their policy on water & planning which will delay is 1-2months so we probably can't send our plans to council till 29/5 which is really disappointing.. Last Thursday I had my tile selection and today I had my colour selection. This Thursday I have my electrical. These are my exterior selections: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Share And these are my interior selections: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Share Going with the Seville profile in monument for the garage door. Appliances are owner supplied with Miele and driveway will be done post handover. Facade will be torquay but I didn't like the front window so I changed it to the front window in the elliott facade. Upgrades include platinum carpet in a charcoal colour (forgot the name of it) in satin dreams, pete evans sink, added a second shower rose in the ensuite, semi framless and hobless with a niche. This will be a feature running vertical through the niche: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Share Upgraded some tapware too and the pullout kitchen bins. Made some modifications to plan: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Share -Extended the media room wall a bit to allow enough space for my 80 gallon fish tank to sit in front of the wall between the media room and in front of the study nook -added a door to the master bedroom -Extended the wall in front of the walk in robe -there will be one big mirror in the ensuite instead of a window between the 2 mirrors -added 4 pot drawers to kitchen - raised ensuite vanity, island bench and study nook bench to 950mm. Im sure there were a few more modifications but I cant remember them at the moment. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Share They have put the turf down this week so hopefully it all moves along it was meant to register in feb but have had so many delays from the land developer

It will eventually be what we build- whenever that happens now lol The master room and in particular the ensuite and Hollywood wardrobe sold it to us! Now if we look at other plans, we try and work out a way to make it like the Avoca's master/ensuite.
