Eaves are scheduled for this week so hopefully the rain doesn't hold that up. I'm going to call the SS this arvo to ask for a walk through and find out when cladding is scheduled. - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 882Dec 08, 2016 1:39 pm Bricks look so good! Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 884Dec 10, 2016 8:57 am Hey Reg, Well, the update this week is that eaves and cladding will be next week. However, we did a walk through with the SS on Tuesday and were discussing if the car we are looking at buying will fit through the garage with the gradient etc. He measured the height of the opening and found the brickies had bricked the top beam 3cm too low, and they hadn't bricked up around the back of the house by enough courses (just one or two rows). So they have to come back, finish the back and take down the bricks around the garage opening and re do it higher. I'm hopeful that will happen this week and then eaves and cladding will be hopefully week after. Also found out the office closes on the 23rd and SS and trades are returning 9th Jan. So not as long as what we were thinking. So bit of a bummer, but I'm relieved and appreciative that our SS took the time, picked up the error and is having it rectified. This man is worth his weight in gold I tell ya. He will be getting a bl00dy nice gift at the end. - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 887Dec 30, 2016 4:17 pm lol sorry guys! Reg who's there?! Brickies have finished up and re done the sills that SS wasn't happy with. We start back on the 9th Jan. We will be living in our new home next year. No more cramped conditions. No more camping wardrobes. Exciting!! - otherwise known as Kym - Re: Our first build: "Bridgewater" by Gj's Shoalhaven 888Jan 03, 2017 7:00 pm Ok so FYI.
