I've gone with urban and polar white silk for the bathrooms too but just a darker grey floor tile. The polar white silk and sleek concrete top for the kitchen. We have extended our alfresco to the end of the house also but didn't change anything else besides a few windows etc. They have just finished the new Noosa 28 display at the new estate in Thornton so it was good to have a look on the weekend. I've got a better idea of things now Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 82Jan 29, 2016 11:33 am Firstbuild92 What façade have you gone with? Im pretty sure you picked the same tile for your kitchen as we picked for our laundry splashback Unfortunetly we had to go with the standard facade due to estate guidelines, Which im totally bummed about as I love the houses with the big fancy fronts lol We have tried to jazz it up abit by adding render and stained timber poles to the front as well as a timber-look garage door. I am hanging to get to the new display homes!! I managed to con my hubby to go tomorrow.. although im alittle scared - Hope i dont regret any of our choices after seeing the new houses. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 83Jan 29, 2016 2:51 pm Ryalls_first_build Firstbuild92 What façade have you gone with? I wish it would just hurry up and start building! Yes we really like at the greyish colours We went with the torquay façade. Oh that's ok, I'm sure it will look really nice. And timer look garages are a huge feature too. I don't like the daydream 30 display, its so all over the place. But still love the Noosa, made us so excited! We didn't even look at any of the choices and compare them to ours. We are still really happy with our choices, wait and see if that's still the case when we are in! Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 84Feb 02, 2016 12:55 pm Finally some good news... They have received our fire assessment back and we have gone from a BAL 29 to BAL19 so will get some money back woohoo!! And our DA was sent to council yesterday!! Fingers and toes crossed council moved faster then Corals certifiers lol _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 85Feb 03, 2016 12:59 pm Firstbuild92 Ryalls_first_build Firstbuild92 What façade have you gone with? Any progress with your house?[/quote] That's fine! Greys don't date so that's a bonus. My partner said the same but he is still keen on a charcoal grey theatre room! Who was your consultant? We went through Tim. He was great but didn't remember us when we went though the new display last weekend! I just though the daydream wasn't spaced properly. Its a huge house but so wasted. That's good. Nothing worse then dreading a choice! I wish I had done the kitchen lights differently now but anyway. No not yet. All the foamy boxes and metal frame have been down for a while ready for the slab. I wish they done it at the start of the week while the weather was nice. Now its raining and will be delayed even longer! Have you got a start date? Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 87Feb 05, 2016 9:59 am Did you see that theater room in one of the Mac Jones display homes with the tiny lights on the roof AMAZING! We had Tim aswell, When we went in he looked at us like he recognised us but didn't really say much then i think it clicked to him by the time we were walking out.. We have a 6 and 4 year old so maybe stand out abit more lol What did you do with your kitchen lights? We kept the basics and will change over to downlight after handover. Well at least something is happening.. Fingers crossed that today might be the lucky day!! No definetly no start date... Our DA was sent to council on Monday and still wasn't on the website yesterday So i range them to make sure they received it which they had but haven't put it on the tracker website yet as they had questions for Coral.. Hmmm I really hope its just something silly like they forget to include colours or something. _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 88Feb 05, 2016 7:10 pm I know it is amazing. I wish we could afford to do that! Yes maybe that's why. We haven't had anything to do with him since August either. We kept them basic aswell but paid to get 3 pendants put up owner supplied. I will do down lights aswell but where the kitchen light is isn't where I want a downlight so we will have to patch up that hole. We got a slab today yay! Happy Friday for us. Ours took 6 weeks in Maitland council. And the certifier was so slow. We got there but! Fingers crossed its quick for you guys Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 89Feb 06, 2016 8:10 pm Hi there, my husband and I are looking at building a Noosa 26 and I can't decide which would be the best wall to put the bed on in the master bedroom, can I ask where you plan on putting your bed? Sorry if it's a weird question love your colour choices too! Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 90Feb 06, 2016 8:16 pm NicMac03 Hi there, my husband and I are looking at building a Noosa 26 and I can't decide which would be the best wall to put the bed on in the master bedroom, can I ask where you plan on putting your bed? Sorry if it's a weird question love your colour choices too! We are building the noosa 26 and removed the slider and put 2 side windows and put the bed on the alfresco wall. There is also the option to have a high window over the bed if you would prefer that. We didnt want to walk into the room and have to walk around the bed so this is why we changed. Our plan is on our build thread if you would like to have a look https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80908 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 91Feb 06, 2016 8:30 pm Yes I'm having the same problem, not wanting to walk around the bed when you enter the room. My hubby loves the sliding door so I'm not sure he will give it up. More thinking to do, thanks for your reply! Sorry if it's a weird question love your colour choices too! Hey! Not a weird question at all! We spent abit of time trying to figure this out as well... We ended up changing the window in the master to a sliding door and put the bed on the wall closest to the kitchen (that the bedroom door is on) if that makes sense? HOPEFULLY it will work out ok as like you guys we didn't want to have to walk around the bed to get to the bathroom etc _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Our Forever home - Coral Homes Noosa 26 at West Wallsend 93Feb 08, 2016 11:06 am Firstbuild92 I know it is amazing.
