He did a few extras for her with no dramas. Justin is his name. She doesn't have his number sorry. Riverstone crossing is just up the road from us, it is very pretty in there I just didn't love the body corporate charges . I've heard the body Corp fees are $50 a week or something crazy! Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 63Apr 05, 2016 3:30 pm Hey Babyblonde, has your land been registered yet? Long time no hear! Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 64Apr 27, 2016 5:44 pm Oldies Hey Babyblonde, has your land been registered yet? Long time no hear! Hi oldies , Land is due to register 13.05 and settle soon after that. Then we have to patiently wait for council approval. We are hoping for a start date early July I couldn't be more excited to have the land nearly ready. Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 65Apr 27, 2016 5:49 pm Update finally!! Land is due to register 13th may! Then settle within 2 weeks after that. We are hoping for a site start date early July after council approval. Fingers crossed the council approval doesn't take too long - I've heard nightmare stories of it taking 3-4 months Here are a few updates photos of our street / lot Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Come on start date Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 66Apr 27, 2016 7:01 pm I went through private certifier, that took about 5 or 6 weeks but plumbing went through council and was approved after a month so gccc is pretty good Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 67Apr 29, 2016 8:36 am Oh fantastic news!!! Hopefully yours should be fine, We had big troubles but thats because of our estate requirements. Do you have any requirements? _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 68Apr 29, 2016 9:24 am Oh yeah i had alot of strict covenants but didnt have any troubles. When i went for my colour appointment, i had already sent through my plans and colours etc to the developer for approval but I made a change at my colour appointment to my brick colour. Developer was pretty good about it when i told them the colour had changed and just said they would make a not of the change on my file and i didnt need to resend anything. What troubles did you have? Were they major or just minor ones that took to long to sort out? Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 69Apr 29, 2016 12:19 pm Ours was a little different, Instead of going to the developer for approval it was built into the council approval - which is no big deal really but Coral didnt submit anything other then they would normally for any old council approval, So there were huge delays waiting for Coral to ammendments to plans and get geotech reports ( I honestly have no idea why they would even submit it without the relevant information!) It was with their certifiers for 2 months then with council for abit over 2 months so over 4 months in total!! Lets just say my SC and I have had a very colourful relationship lol _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 70Apr 29, 2016 4:40 pm vonsta76 I went through private certifier, that took about 5 or 6 weeks but plumbing went through council and was approved after a month so gccc is pretty good That's hopeful where abouts are you building Vonsta? I think Stocklands will organise all the approvals so who knows, I'm just hoping it's quicker than we expect since we have been waiting forever Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 71Apr 29, 2016 4:41 pm Ryalls_first_build Oh fantastic news!!! Hopefully yours should be fine, We had big troubles but thats because of our estate requirements. Do you have any requirements? Nope no requirements that I can think of , I think it should be fairly straight forward (fingers, toes & limbs crossed) Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 72Apr 29, 2016 4:52 pm Bablu blonde, im not that far away, just over at gainsborough greens in pimpama, an exit before you (heading north). I looked at ormeau ridge i think( or it was an estate near there by stockland) and had my eye on a block but the sales lady was so unhelpful, didnt seem like she wanted the sale so she lost my business. I found my plumbing approval paperwork, it was approved 4th march and sent off to council on 18th feb, so actually 2 weeks for approval! Its the private certifiers that take ages to come back. Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 73Apr 29, 2016 4:53 pm Sorry baby blonde, im on my iphone and didnt realise i called you bablu blonde lol, screen is severely cracked and cant see half the stuff im typing, not sure how to edit on tapatalk Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 74Apr 29, 2016 4:56 pm vonsta76 Sorry baby blonde, im on my iphone and didnt realise i called you bablu blonde lol, screen is severely cracked and cant see half the stuff im typing, not sure how to edit on tapatalk Haha that's fine! Your not too far away at all. We actually looked at Gainsborough greens first but land prices were higher than ormeau ridge. What size lot did you get? Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 75Apr 29, 2016 5:01 pm Total opposite lol. My lot snt very big at all, its only 401 but its enough yard space for a dog which is all i need, but there are a few parks and walking tracks in the estate so thats good. I also dont have any neighbours across the road, its all tracks and greens and lakes. Maybe you looked at the blocks where the golf course is? That side is more expensive and is body corporate so i avoided that stage release. How big is yours? Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 76Apr 29, 2016 5:08 pm vonsta76 Total opposite lol. Our land is the exact same size we are up the top end of our estate which doesn't have much else above it but parks. I love how ormeau ridge has a 6km walking track around the estate Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 77Apr 29, 2016 5:40 pm My stage sounds just like yours lol Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 78Apr 29, 2016 5:52 pm I just read your whole thread from the beginning, i really really love your tile selwction! I cannot wait for your build to fet started! I cannot wait for your build to fet started! Thank you I'm so excited to see it all come together. I'm hoping all the colours / tiles we have selected go together Re: Building with coral homes - Manhattan 23 80Apr 29, 2016 7:09 pm Im sue they will, you made an excellent choice with your mosaic. Do you have far to check on your block, or are you nearby? Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74702 |
