Building in Eliza Ponds, Spearwood I talk about my community here: https://www.facebook.com/22suburbs Re: Building with Ben Trager homes Eliza Ponds Coogee 23Sep 08, 2015 5:36 pm Nice layout.. Now prepare to ride bth like a horse.. they offer poor workmanship, no progress and poor communication skills. Check everything and dont visit site too much you will become frustrated watching double brick two storey homes go up twice as fast with quality before a simple truss slab and timber frame upper storey. They focus more on getting new clients and less on building our homes. Re: Building with Ben Trager homes Eliza Ponds Coogee 24Sep 08, 2015 5:52 pm slowbuild Nice layout.. Kryssti Ben trager build 2015/2016 Congrats on your slab Kryssti, I wish you a speedy build with no problems. Since slowbuild hasn't responded I will, as I'm guessing my experience is much like theirs, my slab went down in late July 2014, I'm still not in my home, I've had 6 site supervisors, 3 client liaisons officers, i went 7 weeks with absolutely nothing being done on my house and a few other month long time frames with nothing being done. They go through phases of being great and getting stuff done quickly, then it seems they fall off the face of the earth and nothing happens again for a while. I've had 2 practical completions inspections and each time my building inspector has told me not to sign because the list of defects is too long. I had my last inspection 2 weeks ago and now they've realised the blockage in the bathtub is caused because the pipework wasn't flushed properly and they have to rip it all out and start again. Just put everything in writing, document any commitments they make and contact them all the time, demand a weekly construction update and please get an independent building inspector to check the quality of work before you make the milestone payments.. best money i have spent! I do honestly hope you have a very different building experience, their houses are beautiful and I look forward to the day I can live in mine!
