Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Lakeland Pakenham 116Apr 21, 2017 12:08 am Beehive Expected title was June 2016(when we bought the land in Nov 2015) , then extended till Oct-Nov 2016 due to bad weather during winter and so the construction was delayed. Latest is April 2017, once the sound wall is completed. Yes, Hope they take too long. Hey how's it all going? Have you had any news about title? We've been checking once a week and can see the fwy barrier is getting there! Building the willow25 in Pakenham, Vic ☺ Re: Lakeland Pakenham 117May 31, 2017 10:53 am My friend has a land in stage 4 and I'm in stage 5. Council still hasn't issued certificate of compliance because apparently "not all conditions have been met" (I checked with council and they only gave a generalised response). It seems the sound barrier issue is now resolved but some other service provider has an issue. Not sure how/why that is the case because when I checked with Lakeland about a month ago, they said Vicroads certificate was the only one pending. So stage 4 has been delayed 1 year now . When I bought in Nov 2016 ours was to title Mar/Apr 2017. Probably both stages will be titled together or within a short period. Sound barrier shouldn't be an issue for stage 6 Re: Lakeland Pakenham 118May 31, 2017 11:11 am Chris_FHO My friend has a land in stage 4 and I'm in stage 5. My parents have acerage which is already titled but council has had their plans awhile. So maybe just council being slow? There's a huge puddle in stage 6 now so no idea when we will title. Supposed to be May/June 17 was pushed back 2 months but with the giant puddle I'm not sure... Purchased in Feb 2017 and was advised it should be titled in June/July. In May, we were advised that due to weather, it has been delayed by two months and should be ready in August. The most recent update in July was that titles are now expected mid-Oct. Just a waiting game at the moment, and I guess from other posts, we are waiting on other stages to be completed/sold first. |
