Hopefully the total cost doesn't rise too much. Since we deleted the storeroom option, we reallocated the funds for the square set ceilings. Good thing we get the continous gas hot water system as standard now so we save $1,600! (Woohoo) @Shielzy, no demo as yet but we have budgeted $15k for it. We have a list of companies but it's a bit early to engage them. Yeah its a KDRB. build thread - viewtopic.php?t=78328 We signed our contract and we are also told that we can get the continuous hot water but it's not rinnai company.. And it comes without any panel to control water temp... But for extra 1600 you get rinnai which comes with two panel for two bathrooms or anywhere u want if you want to control water temp specially for kids bathroom And yes free standing tub bs malamine shelves are standard now Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 125Aug 02, 2015 10:24 am We were told the rinnai hot water system we had in our contract is now free so good point we need to ensure they mention rinnai in our contract. build thread - viewtopic.php?t=78328 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 126Aug 02, 2015 1:06 pm With the dual controllers for the gas hot water, give rinnai a call to make sure the controllers both have mains functions. We have dual controllers in the house and they are useless. If I want to reduce the temp in the bathrooms I have to hit the transfer button on the controller in the kitchen, then press the buttons on the bathroom controller to reduce the temp, once they are finished with the water I have to hit the transfer button in the bathroom go out to the kitchen and re set the temp out there. They don't work together only transfer the control from one to the other but require button pressing at each controller. It's a complete pain in the butt. I don't use it at all. Hope that makes sense Re: Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 127Aug 02, 2015 1:41 pm Oh that sounds like a pain. We have a controller in our current house and it's normally a set and forget feature (50C ) all the time. build thread - viewtopic.php?t=78328 Orpheus Building the Metricon Glendale 38|Sydney Dream Metricon Glendale 38 (Sydney)! 129Aug 02, 2015 10:37 pm After peeking at Glendale38's house (thanks!) to see how the metallic bronze bricks looks on the Glendale it looks like we will following the similar external colour scheme and decided on. 1. Surfmist for gutters and fascias 2. Woodland grey for downpipes 3. Pearl white for all windows and stacker/sliding doors 4.
