We are having simple pendants over the kitchen bench (which is tiny compared to most that I have been reading about) but there is a moderately sized pendant going in the void (which will be over the dining table). Soon we'll have the finished pics to sigh over ☺ Re: Custom build in Adelaide. 289May 02, 2016 7:26 pm Yep, already drooling and getting house envy haha Re: Custom build in Adelaide. 290May 04, 2016 11:01 pm I too am guilty of a late response to your reply (sorry TD) The pendants over the island sound great, if the void/dining pendant is to be the hero you don't want the island pendants to be competing for attention (sounds like we are talking about naughty kids not lights ) I do like the pendant it's very classy Bathrooms looks great, the tiles will look fab all grouted up. Oh wow your brave going with fixed glass. I couldn't do it I like to be able to close the shower door and stay warm Re: Custom build in Adelaide. 291May 04, 2016 11:10 pm Definitely not bonkers, we have fixed glass and it's awesome and so easy to clean. Thanks Heather. We are looking forward to moving in. The tiling is almost complete. Then it's plumbers, electricians, AC, data and the last of the 2nd fix carpentry. The painters should be done by the end of next week. Which leaves silicon, carpet and cleaning. So, not long now. PS. If you look really closely you'll notice the stacker door now has the handle on the other side. This required pretty much a whole new door. Using my LG-G4 to bring you this update. I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature.
