We haven't been updated on anything much. I was hoping for kind of like a weekly update at least on what was booked to happen. SLab pour- I am thinking it will be quicker to just go and check yourself than wait for SS.... or send a carrier pigeon lol that would probably still be quicker than Coral! The lack of communication really does my head in as I run a business and its one of the most important things I try to do. Its really not that hard to answer with either a yes it will be done....or sorry they are booked up till.... etc Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 25 205Mar 22, 2016 8:01 pm That's not good! Yes communication isn't great across the board! Fingers crossed you hear something tomorrow! Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 25 214Mar 25, 2016 7:32 pm Hooray!! So glad your slab is finally there!! No idea about the pipe although we don't have one on our aircon slab... Are you tiling, decking or continuing the concrete from the driveway? We are extending our driveway but I am a big fan of decking on this area! I just feel ours is too small to deck and have an impact! What are you leaning towards? Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 25 217Mar 27, 2016 7:25 pm lol well..we keep changing our minds. I think tiled/paved at this stage but who knows haha..its an ongoing thing here too. What about your back yard, any clue there? We were thinking of just grass, then thought maybe a smallish deck, then thought cement all the way along and have it cut into like big pavers Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 25 218Mar 27, 2016 7:28 pm Haha I misread your first post and thought you said alfresco! For our front we are extending the driveway! I love the decking look but our front is too small for it to have an impact I think! As for our back, that's what we are extending and looking to pave lol Re: Coral Homes - Noosa 25 219Mar 27, 2016 7:32 pm Due to the slope on ours I would like to do a deck and then step it down and have a couple of large steps to the front yard and side yard Still need to convince my husband though viewtopic.php?t=80908 https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80908 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 14433 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4381 Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 76917 |
