Question??? Will you change it to 450mm finish height to allow easy shoe fitting for kids and adults? This will mean less under cabinet storage and 2 visible drill holes that's will need patching. You can have a small step stool, kids will eventually grow as well viewtopic.php?t=78985 Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block: slow and stead 624Jul 29, 2016 7:39 pm Thanks Clintdb and franky, we decided to keep it at 600mm, cos my kids can sit in it long ways and we can also place out feet on it standing. The other purpose of it is to rest their bags on it so changing the height isn't a big deal. We have ongoing process! All the doors are nearly all installed! They look really good! Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block: slow and stead 631Jul 29, 2016 11:30 pm Thank everyone! It's so close yet so far! We're still missing the stone, painting, final electrical fitout, final plumbing fitout, shower screens, concreting, blinds... I'm a bit stressed about it at the moment. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block: slow and stead 635Jul 30, 2016 7:52 pm BL35ED Yeah I have to agree colours look fantastic... Where did you do that travertine feature?? Always loves travertine stone Front entry wall on the left. This will also be on the fireplace wall, front entry steps, and back alfresco, but not French pattern just plain rectangles. Best place to buy is from TFO. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block: slow and stead 636Jul 30, 2016 8:15 pm Mmmmmm..... just my opinion, but I wouldnt do it too much everywhere. It would kind of kill that wow factor... On entrance and fireplace sound perfect. I dunno bout alfresco and front but again maybe different if I physicall saw your place. Eitherway still love it. Im really happy everything is moving along for u. Im pretty much still the same another week went past no work. Have had to escalate to my solicitor now Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block: slow and stead 637Jul 31, 2016 8:44 am The travertine looks stunning. You have really put a lot of thought in the details (this is where I fall flat!). Great choices love the earthy tones. Im really happy everything is moving along for u. Im pretty much still the same another week went past no work. Have had to escalate to my solicitor now We initially thought the same too. We ran our ideas with my husband's cousin who is an interior designer and she thought it wasn't over done. She did suggest a different pattern for our alfresco, which we thought was a good idea too. Our front patio is a very small area anyway. If we used a different material colour for alfresco it would mean too many different colours and it didn't really flow since we wanted some degree of inside outside feel, hence the reason for the corner stacker, and minimal step down between these 2 areas. We've had 4 weeks of no action in May, it happens here too unfortunately. But hope your place moves forward much faster especially for your wedding! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75739&p=1299716#p1299716 Re: Custom home design Sydney - narrow block: slow and stead 639Jul 31, 2016 9:00 am Corallake The travertine looks stunning.
