Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Mojo Homes 921Mar 30, 2017 11:19 pm Not far off from getting to the build phase Hb warranty is back Cc is back Finance approved I feel like a poodle at a dog show jumping through all those hoops. Come on you good thing. Get that fence up, earthworks done and slab down. Take my money already!!! We are still undecided on the pool. 6x3 is approx 60k.. There's plenty of room for some water play shenanigans.. and we could spend that on 5 x family holidays... Explored the fibreglass option and gee its much the same. Save 10k.. peanuts!! On a selections note if anyone has gone with black or japan stain to staircase with NO french polish please advise or post up some pictures. Wondering if it truely is the look we are after.. Re: Mojo Homes 924Mar 31, 2017 2:38 pm Guys do you know from when builder's contact start? Since in site or after the slab down or job in construction list? Or Re: Mojo Homes 927Mar 31, 2017 9:54 pm Hi there We are thinking of a pool as well. Didn't think it would be that much. Does that include all landscaping/solar etc? Do u have access issues? Re: Mojo Homes 929Mar 31, 2017 11:05 pm Guys the 60k includes No extra concrete around the pool. So just the coping wodt 400mm but a fair bit of equipment 6x3 pool Tiles in mosaic 13kw heatpump Robotic cleaner Automates chlorinator Filters All electrical and plumbing Glass fencing 13Lm Dig and dumo soil Council. Re: Mojo Homes 931Apr 01, 2017 11:44 am Sounds good. We have reserve behind so hopefully council will let us use for access. 60k for all that seems reasonable. Can't wait to get one of I didn't have a crappie small home now I would do it before the build. Mojo didnt allow us to add a p trap on the side of the house for the sewer which would have made life easier when we were connecting the overflow. Re: Mojo Homes 932Apr 11, 2017 11:38 pm aside from this crazy weather did you all know April has 17 working days PLUS one of those is an RDO. This makes supervisors like myself go crazy hahahah bring on may to november. Busiest and most productive part of the year! Dont know if ive mentioned it but increasing garage door height to 2400mm is a relatively cheap option at tender time (600ish). Lots of bigger SUVs plus roofracks doesnt leave much space!! Re: Mojo Homes 934Apr 24, 2017 7:01 pm we are still waiting for our contract and final plans... a bit stressed here as everything is just pending this contract and final plans. We've had our electrical already and our tender period expires next month.... Hope weather holds up for you! Re: Mojo Homes 935Apr 24, 2017 9:16 pm Hi all, Havent posted for awhile. So we finally got our keys back on the 10th of feb. There was just handfull of stuff to be done on the practical completion date. Still not completed up to date! Havent been able to connect cable since we moved in because the cable line wasnt pull through from the street? They had a technician out to fix the problem then we called Optus to come out again to install and Mojo only connected ADSL line through?not NBN... 😣 its so frustrating! Not trying to stress you but Council da, cc to construction list will take approx 2 months from when they submit. Mine was jan 25th and was put on construction list march 30th. Looks like you will go over your tender expiry. Re: Mojo Homes 939Apr 26, 2017 8:31 pm ja-mez 2 months is normal for that process. As for cdc take out the council portion and its only 3 weeks of the 9 it took. Add the cdc time youre still at 7 or 8 weeks..... So much for moving in before Christmas 😐 Re: Mojo Homes 940Apr 28, 2017 7:52 am Crownleyian ja-mez 2 months is normal for that process.
