Apparently they are in the process of changing there lines so we may like the new one better. Only time will tell. Thanks Epaul that is why we leaned towards the darker one. Also i found that in some light the lighter tended to look brown instead of grey. Maybe I just have poor lighting where we are living not sure. Ours were very slow as well. From when they drawn up plans after signing of contract to receipt of CC nearly two months after the DA approval. That includes the Christmas shutdown. Therefore signed contract on 21 August 2015 then site started on 08 Feb 2016. So nearly six months after contract signing, that is without any issues on the plans, basix etc.
I'm a very impatient person so the process seems forever for me back then! Its so frustrating why they cant even respond to you to at least advise status! We were pessimistic about that as all they need to do is put a toilet on your site, but we had a fair bit of action really quickly. So fingers crossed for you too - especially since you're so close to us location wise. Good choice with carpet colour. If you have children in the house then you'll be thankful for darker carpet.
