Birdie is cute too. Every year without fail aloenyx! Hence my decision to avoid wood floors! I have shares in Handee kitchen towel at this time of year, coz they are a bit hard to toilet train!! Does he have a name or do you not go there with lambies? The pendants are fab too. We need pictures of them in situ of course! They are going to look gorgeous with all your other red touches, Re: Summit build in the South West - Pendants and lambs! 1388Apr 29, 2015 6:32 pm oh my goodness Rache that little lamb is just way too adorable!! Love the pendants as well Re: Summit build in the South West - Pendants and lambs! 1389Apr 30, 2015 12:56 am Baby anythings are always gorgeous i reckon! Thanks guys! His name is Wedgy nikki coz we saved him from an eagle. And i will absolutely post pics when the pendants are in! Question for everyone. I just had my asko dishwasher installed and expected it to fit perfectly. It doesnt. They supplied a grey strip of metal for the kickboard, not stainless steel, and if it is fitted flush with this there would be a 2.5 inch gap at the top. The plumber has spaced the gaps so there is an inch at the top and just over an inch between the bottom of the dishwasher and the grey strip. Looks pretty crap. Figure i could have spent half the amount and got a freestanding and it would have at least looked finished. Anyone else had this problem and got any fixes? Re: Summit build in the South West - Dishwasher question! 1390Apr 30, 2015 10:54 am Yes I had the problem as we raised our benchtops in the kitchen to 1m and forgot about the gap that would be created. One thing I thought about was make a drawer at the top or as someone suggested just use a board over the top of the dishwasher and use it to store oven trays, cutting boards etc. OR this is what Bradster on the forum did: Glued some sheets of marine ply together to get the height and size, then glued on the brushed aluminium finish to match the rest of the cabinet kick board's, this way it all looked uniform. Nothing's done yet, but fingers crossed it will happen - DH's priority is outside not in and he's not very DIY except for outside. Re: Summit build in the South West - Dishwasher question! 1391Apr 30, 2015 11:39 am Rech I had same problem but I picked it up at prestart . Only the top though the sides had a gap and the stainless steal kick board wasn't wide enough . I just have the same colour laminex to close up the gap at the top . And the kitchen people came back to close up the sides but they some how did that from the inside . Then they closed the bottom with the same kick boards as the kitchen . I think they glued it .god knows how i going to get it out if I need to getdisherwasher out . Lol . I'll try toget my photo bucket working tonight and send you a picture Re: Summit build in the South West - Dishwasher question! 1392May 01, 2015 12:30 am Thanks Trees and Melsie. I spoke with Asko today and they are sending a kickboard thats 3cm higher. Should close up the gap a bit. And if i am still not happy i will have to get some matching laminex! Re: Summit build in the South West - Dishwasher question! 1393May 01, 2015 5:02 pm I'm worried about the whole dishwasher thing too. See how we go, but keen to see how you resolve yours. Re: Summit build in the South West - Dishwasher question! 1395May 02, 2015 1:45 am Well here they are...it's only taken 4 months for them to arrive but I have to say the wait was worth it!! I am absolutely stoked with my funky pendants!! In love with a capital L!! Have found a gorgeous industrial style tv unit with matching side tables in Acquire and am hoping to layby them next week. Will take a photo. Also finally found some lights for our ensuite. Pic doesn't show the effect very well but they are a little bit Hollywood!! Do like them. OMG! 1396May 02, 2015 3:29 am Wow Rache they look lovely and definitely not too much red - they're perfect! I'm so glad you went for them you've wanted them from the start I can't work out how the ensuite lights look - but the effect is very swish I'm wishing we added lights to the sides or top of the mirrors too - it is such a good idea. When is it too late to add electrical things per variation do you think hehe? Oh before I forget, when I had the day out with my friend last weekend we saw this beautiful basket for logs Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ (Source: http://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-lar ... t/p1615558) I love this shop it is dangerous to go there! Re: Summit build in the South West - OMG! OMG! OMG! 1397May 02, 2015 11:39 am Thanks Malsannie. You are so right. I have loved those pendants from day dot!! There is no reason why you couldnt add the lights to your other variations. It is truly no biggie for the drafties to whip it up. I made some major changes and they were done in a couple of hours! Very gorgeous basket. Unfortunately my OH would only fit one of his logs in it!! Haha! You are so lovely thinking of everyone in your travels..thankyou. i will pop onto tapatalk and see if i can put a day pic of my ensuite lights on for you. Re: Summit build in the South West - OMG!
