Gorgeous! It looks perfect! I love it when your thread comes up again - get on with that landscaping so that I can perve some more.
Thanks FB! Landscaping will be a while, life is getting a whole heap busier as I begin 2 jobs in the next few weeks...

LOL, other things getting in the way, lack of dining table and chairs as well, so I had nothing to gauge the height over the table....that's my excuse anyway!!

Cheers Lex!
I pretty much have most of my landscaping all planned...just have to find time to do it. Still yet to submit plans to Council for front fence, then have to do driveway and retaining wall along the north side...and then I can think about planting.
It will be a fairly formal style garden with white flowers in a cross between formal English garden and French Parterre.
....eventually! I'm working 2 jobs now, so weekends are mostly taken up catching up on housework and being a taxi taking the kids around to their various 'things'.

It's official - we have the same taste!
I was fantasising about having a formal garden, but it not going to happen. Just too much of 'more to demolish' in the current garden. And then we'd be left with zero advanced trees and shrubs - brrrrrrr ....
Can't wait to see some ideas and sketches, not to mention the actual implementation!

Hey Guy's,
Just thought I'd post a couple of pics of the spare bedroom transformation (which still isn't quite complete). We decided I needed a dedicated space for all my crafty/sewing stuff, as my collection was continuing to grow, and it was always difficult to start something then have to pack it all away to eat at the table!
This was the 'just-chuck-it-in-the-spare-room' mess I had to deal with first...

Hehe, thanks Guys!
Ren123, my colour throughout is Bristol Nomadic Ivory, full strength. A very close match is apparently Taubmans Antique Ivory. If you do a search on the forum for these 2 paint colours, several threads come up Best to get sample pots, though, you can't trust a colour from a photo on the internet!

So I was surfing around ebay just now looking for some prices on Pine decking and a pic caught my eye and I thought, hey! I know that picture from somewhere.
