Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 81Jun 30, 2014 6:01 pm Hi Malsanie, I went looking at a few stores for carpets after seeing another place with the same colour and ended up finding exactly what I wanted from Parrys in Malaga. The tiles are made to order with a minimum order 100 sm and there are only about 4 colour to choose from. My tiler was doing a house in these and I like to buy something I have seen in a large area rather than a sample. No rush, we've just been thinking about some extra cabinetry and I loved the picture you posted. Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 89Jul 02, 2014 12:33 am Hey Hopeful, how is it all going? Fingers crossed you get your roof tomorrow. Our brick work is all finished, and everything has been tidied up inside. What a difference a good clean out has made! Did all of your building rubble get taken away at the end of your brickwork? Ours is all in neat piles out the front now. Was just wondering if they take it all now, our wait til the roof goes up. Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 90Jul 02, 2014 8:26 am Hi Kellydoug yes crossing my fingers! Yes they will do a cleanup after bricks with a bobcat and after roof carpenters too I think. Some of these tradies are messy with their rubbish Ive actually put a bin in my garage for them. Hope your roof and plumbing starts soon a few rainy days ahead Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 91Jul 02, 2014 11:34 am We have the same bathroom feature tile also wanting the same colour carpet so thanks for posting that! Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes 92Jul 02, 2014 1:43 pm Archetto the carpet is sooo nice and reasonable price I am having 4 bedrooms and theatre see my plan installed for $5250 and they will hold it for you for 6 months or longer Re: Building in BOYA with Redinkhomes check your downpipes 93Jul 02, 2014 6:39 pm Someone mentioned the other day on here that they were having feature lighting on their garage pillars and on the plan they had a down-pipe coming down. Lucky I checked very hard to notice one plan but My SS is happy to move it for me as I think it would look a bit silly. We still want to get a pool and shed etc where do you draw the line the list could go on forever. Im sure we will just be happy to have our own place to come home to and garden start etc It seems very clear to me that your contract states that a security account does NOT need to be established so the answer to the builder is NO.
