Think it's safe to assume we'd b looking at prob $1k for a single story then if we went with those switches? thats correct, i remember a member AstonBoy went with Henley for these switches and it cost him $1000 for whole house (single story). he built his house in Craigieburn - Aston estate. Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2123Apr 26, 2015 11:54 am Building4my3tots I like your 2nd (wifey) and 3rd option. But I think logic says 3rd choice is best cos at night finding the light switch will be handy instead of feeling for it blindly! Does it cost much for LED to stay in all the time? Like $1/week? What is your current included light switches? don't think running cost wise it would be that bad, as these are LEDs. thanks for giving your vote, thats a very valid point for #3 option. Henley provided Clipsal Slim line switches which are pretty sleek too. but we wanted to add a bit more modern/energetic look in house with switches. Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2124Apr 26, 2015 12:17 pm mee14 Hi mirz, congrats again to your house... looking good.... we had our colour appointment yesterday, we were really tired and exhausted after that. and when we got home, we changed our mind and personally i'm not happy with the colours that we have in our bathrooms... want to go back again to choose for different tiles in our bathrooms and ensuite... Just have a question here, does anyone have had an electrical appointment with Henley? coz we want to have an electrical appointment because we are not sure about this... base on the "new home manual" that Henley provided, we should have a clean plan for our electrical, so I asked our admin to make an appointment for us, but she said that we can have our electrical appointment 1 month after our tender, because they need the drawings. is that how it should really go? Our admin said we can only have electrical after tender...and even after electrical you can still make changes before final contracts just let your admin know so they hold off on making the final drawings..we just had our final contracts a week ago so now confirming all the electrical plans, tender doc , colours and drawing plans... I 2nd that, prefer option 3 if LEd light can be turned off as daylight you prob don't want to have this on, but very handy at night though especially for the kids.. Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2126Apr 26, 2015 2:22 pm I would say option 3, unless that's going to be super annoying in bedrooms. I'm not sure how bright they are in the dark? That's another good point. I haven't seen their brightness in pitch black. But kids bedrooms will have night lamps, so should make brightness bit dull. Re: Sahara Q1 - Final Count Down 2130Apr 26, 2015 3:39 pm Roomeat If i was informed correct, you need a extra wire run for these? You don't need a separate wire. Sparky needs to use a small piece of wire behind switch to make a bridge. There is clear set of instructions sheet comes with switches for sparky on how to connect for each option.
