My build log (Dakota by Simonds): https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69508 Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 642Apr 25, 2014 3:44 pm Your place is looking awesome mate. Driveway is damn sexy for that facade. How did you go with sorting out heating upgrade and zoning? Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 643Apr 26, 2014 11:52 am Thanks it's amazing how much a driveway can enhance the look of your house! Well Henley said they didn't have time to look into it on Thursday, so we will have to follow it up this wrrk Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 644Apr 27, 2014 12:53 am That makes sense in that shortest working week of the year. We did same heating upgrade. During tender appointment it was picked up by presenter that SC put wrong zoning for us. He put single story zoning in double story, which never made sense. I would suggest to get into roof cavity and take a photo of model number and details of heating unit too. Just for peace of mind. Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 645Apr 27, 2014 3:52 pm Just drove pass ur place, looks good (think I got the right place!) the areas coming along now... lots of houses getting built... hows the mice issues coming along? Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! In sure you did, we are the only Henley house completed yea it's amazing how quickly it has all gone up!! I think they are gone, I haven't heard them the past 2 days, but I will probably have to go up and collect them so they don't stink it out up there Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 647Apr 29, 2014 10:37 am It amazes me when people talk about slow building industry, houses are popping like anything everywhere you go in outer suburbs. Henley informed us 2 months waiting time when we wanted to postpone our contract appointment. Henley informed us 2 months waiting time when we wanted to postpone our contract appointment. Yea they go up pretty quick but I also think some companies bite off more than they can chew and then can't get the job done in time. Henley are petty good Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 649Apr 30, 2014 8:03 am Well I will have new neighbour soon! They are cutting his block at the moment. I'm a little concerned as their white lines seemed to come over to our side, just hoping it means they are cutting I down a bit and any retaining walls he will have to pay for! Because I definitely am not Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 651Apr 30, 2014 10:10 am They did and said they contacted dandy air, but no word, I will follow up at the end of the week Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 652Apr 30, 2014 11:54 am Another mistake found! Out fibre/smart hub isn't finished, under the hub Shiuld be a face plate for our Ethernet cable(Internet) and then a 3 way spliter into 1 for the TV! Let's hope these things are resolved sooner rather than later Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ For bow j will stick to the old antenn for the TV and running an Ethernet cable with the door open, providing I get the internet soon Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 653Apr 30, 2014 12:10 pm So our zoned heating is intact correct, the guy who set up just didn't explain it properly! So now I am happy about that Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 654Apr 30, 2014 12:16 pm lol at least your heating is sorted confused about the smart hub wiring... have opticom already came to connect? Re: Building Henley Manaco Q3 - Moved IN! 656Apr 30, 2014 12:28 pm i don't think so, might be standard nbn... haven't really checked yet! So slacked, haven't got fencing or anything organised or started yet... Did Henley allow the fencing contractors to come and measure site or was that done after your handover? Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Unless you get one of their already inducted trades.
