So happy that a park is gonna build just next to my Land. My lot no is 3125. Any neighbors? Land will be registered in July 2015. Hopefully, the house will be ready by Feb 2016. I am building with eden brae. No Woolworth or coles yet Any news on restaurants or shops in Willowdale? We are going with the Sheffield 27.. I am hoping for an earlier finish but I think it will be more like April 2016 for us.. Haven't heard anything about the shopping village yet.. How exciting is it the first time you can stand on your land!! My experience with Eden Brae was not that great. I was told that my Lot will have low BAL rating. The tender had 12.5 BAL rating mentioned on it. Finally, the contract had 19 BAL rating. Really, so does that mean you need to pay for the difference between the Bal 12.5 to 19? Ours is rated 12.5 and Eden Brae told us if for any reason it increased we would have to pay for the additional requirements (materials/ labour etc).. When did you buy your package? We bought ours back in October.. Their houses are really good n I still regret for not being able to make it with them. I decided not to proceed with them due to follow - considerable increase in site cost at tender stage ( my land has is only 0.5m fall) than what is promised at initial consultations. - insisting on garage step down which is totally unnecessary( with an extra cost to me) - charging me to remove council footpath which is not there. And few other things that I thought really should not be there( only adding cost) As long as you ve been critical about every figure it the tender there shouldn't be a problem. We faces similar issues as well during our tender but we managed to get the council foot path removed from our contract. The bigger the block the cheaper the $/sqm, I found. We bought the smallest size available from the builders ( H&L package) in 3B and the land cost more than $1000/sqm !
