Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Melsie 68 621Apr 15, 2014 9:17 pm Thanks nuadvanture , I like a big baby. Just relised our sink in this house is leaking . I think it's time to go lol . I just won't to be excited about my house again . Maybe I need to buy some more new furniture . The tiles will probley resolve themselves and maybe I'm being to picky . I have been told by someone that I wasn't building with a boutique builder so maybe I'm asking to much . Re: Melsie 68 622Apr 15, 2014 9:28 pm No, I think that with redink there will always be a bit of project management required by the customer. I'm fully anticipating quite a bit of involvement, not in a pushy way, but helping them to realise what is acceptable to you as a paying customer. I fully believe that we set the bar level. It is important that the issues that are annoying you are resolved to your satisfaction. You are paying big money, boutique builder or not. Sleep on it tonight, get a list up of all the things that fail to meet your satisfaction and then take it to redink.....I'm sure they will come to the party....now where's that wine ? Re: Melsie 68 623Apr 15, 2014 9:36 pm Thanks I am in contact with the big manager but it doesn't help he is on holidays till next week. My build is now on hold my ss said it will take another week to re book trades in . We have a meeting with big boss next week and I told my partner to wait till then . I have had enough of talking to the middle people . What's another week . I would prefer to get the job fixed propley . Oh I don't drink only coz partner doesn't boring old man . But I just had a massive cookie a donut and heaps of ice cream a coffee and a look through other peoples blogs . Feel a bit better . Thanks for listening . I told the ss not to open up coz partner wonted to talk to tiler but he could only make it at 12 I went to meet him and couldn't get in . That was a waste of time . The tiler was a nice guy . I guess anyone that has the time to help you out and give you advice for free gets a big tick from me . The amount of tilers I rang today .that wonted to get payed to come out and look at the job .was a joke . Can you email me your phone number . Could be anywhere in my phone .
