It's going up faster than I thought it would. ~~Lethe~~ My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 25Nov 16, 2013 9:38 pm More photo's of our build progress Em's Room almost complete http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1474362_10201824864396133_1166848380_n.jpg Laundry/Kitchen Wall http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1462930_10201824864356132_1095240266_n.jpg Yesterday's work http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1457605_10201824864316131_1325936496_n.jpg ~~Lethe~~ My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, Homebuyers Centre - Flute 26Nov 18, 2013 4:30 pm Just drove past my place and they are taking down the front walls/windows that they put in last week!!! I wonder what went wrong My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, Homebuyers Centre - Flute 27Nov 18, 2013 7:15 pm If it's a poor job and they are going to fit it that's a good thing! But it's also a setback see it as they are making sure that the house is built perfect Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, Homebuyers Centre - Flute 28Nov 20, 2013 1:53 pm Walls go up and walls come down ... eventually they do go back up again So not only did the builders bring down our front walls/windows they also brought down all the internal walls that they had built, so basically they are building my house twice!! Practice make perfect I guess. So now for some pics... Em's windows re-installed not sure but maybe they have been re-positioned slightly. But they have damaged one of the window frames http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1460292_10201847901252040_194169811_n.jpg Damage, its on the inside and its pretty obvious http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps2df0c181.jpg http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zps518c0388.jpg Bedroom 3 window re-installed... http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1470126_10201847901212039_1823015640_n.jpg But the most exciting thing they did was rebuild the wall that fell down the first day (I think that they were waiting on new bricks) http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1450905_10201847901092036_376729126_n.jpg http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1424451_10201847901132037_1517728150_n.jpg I am very happy about that Here is the pile of wasted/used brick on my site, it seems to grow every time I visit http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/1467383_10201847901172038_1015260110_n.jpg ~~Lethe~~ My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 29Nov 22, 2013 12:38 am It's starting to look like a house http://i981.photobucket.com/albums/ae298/Lethe_K/Facebook/My%20Baldivis%20Build/644524_10201872044135597_1936913061_n.jpg My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 30Nov 22, 2013 8:05 am Wow exciting! To see the front ! I can't wait for mine to start! Does it feel like moving day is years away? Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 31Nov 22, 2013 3:21 pm It is exciting to see the house start to take shape but it does feel like moving will be ages away yet but at the same time everything seems to be happening rather quickly. I am sure once they move on to the internal stuff and I can't see changes as I drive by it will seem like everything is going too slow. My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 32Nov 23, 2013 2:37 am Hi Lethe Love your house plans nice big open living and kitchen area at the back. Love your choice of colours I am a fan of the grays too. Wow how amazing that they pulled down all the brick work they did, but as 2 cupcakes pls mentioned it means they are getting it right and not leaving a sloppy job which is a good sign. The brick work does look a lot neater. They of course are not as careful with getting a neat perfect finish when it is being covered with render. Heard many people get their windows damaged during a build. Ask them to replace it not just do a patch job repair. despite the rebuild, the whole project seems to be moving along well. Look forward to following your progress. I am also taking the brick work redo as a sign that our site supervisor is on the ball which I find comforting being that we are new at this and probably wouldn't know if something was wrong. Everything is moving along pretty well I think and if I didn't drive past everyday I probably wouldn't even be aware of any problems ~~Lethe~~ My Baldivis Build: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=67953 Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 34Nov 26, 2013 12:56 pm Brickwork almost done Just a couple of course to go above the back window and the pillars for the carport to be completed. I love the locate Re: Lethe's House - Baldivis, HBC: Flute - Brickwork 39Dec 06, 2013 3:40 pm I love our location it is perfect for me being only a couple of minutes from work and we can walk to the shops (and the library which my sis is really excited about). I wish I could say it was careful planning and research which led us to buying there but we just pretty much just lucked out. As it was a house and land package we had pretty much decided to buy it before we checked out the location, it was in Baldivis which was all we cared about location wise.
