And hope your tender presentation went well, Darali! Thanks erinandcraigw, I hope you find your ideal home soon. We also have restrictions! we are opposite to the bush and have the APZ(asset protection zone) , thus, our front setback is pushing the house a meter more than the usual for Heartwood. Also we have a corner lot. We hope to accept the tender this week.. We are only doing in the tender 4 upgrades…Let'see what happens at the different appotinments. Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 28Nov 27, 2013 9:05 pm We accepted our tender last week, now just waiting the 5 weeks for the plans. It is really overwhelming the number of files in the USB from Wisdom. Now, we are only concentrating in bricks. This week we will start the visits to Boral, Austral and PGH and display home Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 29Jan 22, 2014 10:42 am About bricks... Does anyone know if the bricks that we choose are the same for the brick piers in the front?? Or can we choose a different one?? Ps: we are not upgrading bricks. Cheers Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 30Jan 22, 2014 12:57 pm Yeah. I'm not sure either but we're using the same bricks for the piers even though they ended up in moroka. But I found a builder nearby our build seems to use different bricks for moroka or other finish. Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 31Jan 22, 2014 1:04 pm Yeah, I'm really interested in this topic because we are not rendering or using moroka.. So , if they could be a difference in our front, we can play with colour and try to make it more attractive . Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 32Jan 23, 2014 10:29 am I'm sure they can do it, albeit extra cost they have to add extra cost for leftovers for any broken bricks during bricking. I just noticed that you're building on a corner lot too. Exactly the same side with my lot. I wonder if you have any slope on your lot. The cut and fill for the slab placement will determine your landscape final level. This is important for any retaining wall. Specially any retaining wall restriction in Voyager Point. Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 33Jan 23, 2014 10:43 am We have some cut and fill but is pretty flat. I don't have idea if we will need a retaining wall?! 😳... When is a good time for asking about this?? Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 34Jan 23, 2014 1:16 pm Please see my last post on my thread in regards to retaining wall. If so, I think any of those bricks would look good. Although with a near white roof tile I would stick to a lighter brick.
