Double check that whatever brick you choose is exposure grade. Personally I like brick 1 or 3 Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 42Feb 10, 2014 1:32 pm HomeAngels Is that the roof tile? If so, I think any of those bricks would look good. Although with a near white roof tile I would stick to a lighter brick. It is a difficult decision :-s... The problem is samples and walls don't look the same and pictures as well. We have the roof tiles samples, will try to chip them to see the real colour Cheers Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 44Feb 10, 2014 6:47 pm Hi darali we are also @tender stage started looking @bricks what colours are the bricks from wisdom standard range? Did u get a list of houses which used that brick so u can see what it looks in real life makes life even more confusing Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 45Feb 10, 2014 9:42 pm Picking bricks is hard. Once you narrow down your brick choices, do a search for the brick name here in H1, it may bring up some pics. Also just google it. I found a Few pics of what we were looking at that way. We took 2 months to decide on our brick, back and forth to the brick places many times, driving around looking at houses etc. it is a hard decision so I don't envy you at all. We built the Wisdom Majestic 40 - moved in! Did u get a list of houses which used that brick so u can see what it looks in real life makes life even more confusing When you pay the 3k you receive the wise pack with files about different things including bricks. If you do not need exposure grade I can say you have many options, but also depends on your personal preferences. personally, I think that PGH and Boral give more options to choose from. For example some colour in the inclusive range are: surrey, mocha, kent, dorset, pearl grey, cement, camel, gravel, vino, chocolate, sorbet to,espresso, ghania, outback, truffle. cheers Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 47Feb 12, 2014 5:31 pm Onewheel Picking bricks is hard. Yes, It is hard, but somewhat knowing that we are using the standard range makes it easy Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 48Feb 12, 2014 6:46 pm Some of the brick upgrades aren't that expensive. I would definitely upgrade to a full colour through brick. It's only costing us $2.8k to upgrade a Majestic 45 (well, 46 now) with higher ceilings and brick to the rear of second storey. That's for the Boral Escura Velour (in choc tan) bricks. I think it's worth the money. Obviously, you can spend more though if there's something else you like. Our first choice was around $12k more, we decided a fireplace was more rewarding Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 49Feb 12, 2014 6:57 pm Hi kidsbuggingme ! Thanks for sharing this info. I think it would be nice going for the upgrade but still we are not sure. Let see what brings us the coming weeks regarding to $$$. Have your building started? Or still in admin stage? Cheers Re: Our journey - Majestic 35 WH - Voyager Point 50Feb 12, 2014 8:14 pm We are just waiting for the final papers to sign. We have pegs on our block where surveyors have come back since the demolition, and Wisdom are getting the construction certificate... so, it can't be that far away I'll start a blog sometime soon. It'll be good to see a few Majestics being built. Re: Our journey - Majestic - Voyager Point - LED strip light 51Mar 12, 2014 7:07 pm Hi everyone! Does anyone know the price of the LED strip lights under the overhead cabinets? Also, the price of the ceiling fan? we know that the 3 blade white is 250, but maybe a better one. cheers Re: Voyager Point - Majestic on the corner - No more appts : 52Apr 01, 2014 5:13 pm Well, we have finished all our appointments, signed and sent everything to the builder. Now we are waiting again!! This time expecting our Bushfire costs. This is suppose to be tomorrow, after that CDC (but that is just saying, because is another process) Sometimes it feels like forever, but it is not on our hands. At least we know that we have replied everything the same day. Now, we are looking our landscape. We bought our first tree Re: Voyager Point - Majestic on the corner - No more appts : 53Apr 03, 2014 6:03 pm Congrats on finishing your appointments, so many decisions to be made.
