Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2746Jan 09, 2017 10:41 am Hi scott! I'm building with them in the southern highlands so can share my general experience if you have any questions... This lack of progress for the christmas break is slowly killing me. Thank god they are back next week Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2748Jan 13, 2017 8:16 pm Cool! I really like the cladding, will definitely look better painted. We've had a bit of progress too. I think that shut down is a little white lie. Had phone calls from our site manager and tradies onsite occasionally throughout the holiday period. Had a bit of a delay with our brick selection though, so that will hold things up for a couple of weeks. Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2749Jan 13, 2017 8:56 pm TimK Cool! Will they as much as they can before bricks arrive? Are the bricks just not in stock? Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2750Jan 13, 2017 9:19 pm zowiec TimK Cool! We could have gone to our 2nd option but are pretty set on what we want so are happy to wait. They have done our windows and all sewer/stormwater. Not sure if there's much else they could do now before the bricks but I honestly have nfi Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2751Jan 16, 2017 3:37 pm Hi Everyone, Happy new year. Its been a while since I posted here. People like me who moved in to their homes and got security alarm from Allworth homes, can you advise if you opted to connect it with your mobile or a telephone line? Can we back it up with a security firm ? Any feedback or experience will be appreciated. Cheers G. Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2752Jan 17, 2017 10:36 pm Husband spoke to SS today. Gyprock this week and lock up next wednesday. Tilers booked for the 3rd (Allworth are only doing splash back and wet areas) Cant complain about the schedule our SS has had to date. Very efficient. Would you assume if tilers are booked for the 3rd then the kitchen would be in prior to then as they need to do the splash back? It's called Brivis and the reviews are terrible! With so much going on I hadn't given this any thought until today when the installer called us. Does anyone know if it's too late to change this far into the build? Re: Who is building with Allworth Homes 2760Feb 07, 2017 3:06 pm I was able to get our a/c upgraded to a Daikin unit. The installer was very helpful. Our bricks should be done by the end of the week and there's plenty booked in with other trades next week. Very happy with the construction department thus far. They're so much more efficient than the admin at head office. Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 47426 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
