It definitely is good to be moving. You are so close now!!! I will try to keep putting photos on our home one thread as I finally found an easy way to link from our blog to here using some of the info from other forums. It means I don't have to upload to a separate photo site which is nice. Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 107Jan 20, 2014 6:27 pm Thanks for the well wishes TinaG and Transformation. Yep we mirror reversed the house so the sun came into most of the living areas from the North. It actually worked out kind of better for the garage anyway. Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 113Feb 14, 2014 4:09 pm Lots of photos. I was even thinking making a photobook of all the photos we've collected during the build. LOL Re: No more renos! Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 114Feb 14, 2014 8:07 pm Our windows went in today. They got two windows round the wrong way but the SS said he would sort it out Monday. Things are still moving. By the way we have heaps of photos but we are trying to only put a couple on homeone to save the thread for queries. We have put a few more on the blog and then we might use that photobook idea of cpaces for ALL the photos we have already taken......do we really need a photo of our drainage pit....hmmm maybe we are being a little ridiculous. Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 116Mar 07, 2014 7:23 pm Bricking is well underway and is looking good. We have a question. Should we be concerned about a heap of water pooling at the front of our house. Being on a sloping block we have drainage grates put in to take water away from the front of the house and the landscaping will change the shape of the front but these won't be put in until towards the end of the build. Until then I imagine that the water will consistently pool there. I am wondering if while the slab is settling and different weights are being put on the block that it might be more susceptible to cracking and does water over a few months run enhance this risk as well? Maybe I need to go searching on the forums or find H20 again? You might be able to see the rather large puddle in the picture. Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 117Mar 11, 2014 12:12 pm Hey Jazz_J ur place coming along really well. I had similar issue but the water eventually dried out. Also once u do ur landscaping you shouldn’t have this issue since it will be filled with top soil. Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 119Mar 19, 2014 7:53 am Yeh we will post some nice pictures on homeone when we get the bricking done. There are some more recent photos on the blog. Unfortunately we haven't had the speed of your bricking but it is still moving so we are happy. Time to build a Washington 29 Wisdom Home 120Mar 31, 2014 7:38 pm Well I got to hand it too those brickies... they must have a backlog of work as they pretty much finished all our bricking last week and today between all the downpours. They just have a tiny bit left and then I will post some pictures on home one and the blog. I better go back and look at Transformation's thread to see what happens next.
