Here is our house plan... The only difference is we have floating floors in the study and the fridge is in the WIP.

Looking at moving the shower niche in the ensuite to the long wall, below the window... Just waiting on some pricing.... Also, looks like dilorenzo stuffed up by saying the inovar flooring was in their standard range.... (After two emails and a few phone calls). The quote has taken a while to get back from head office because their salesperson made a mistake... Either way, they quoted it, and we are having it included in the builders range. WIN! Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 63Jan 30, 2013 7:35 pm Maybe too many of us that went to Bella vista complained about the inequality... Lol Lucky for you, you still get the floating floor! Built a Hawthorne 31 with EB nessjeffdreamhouse.blogspot.com.au Building an investment now with New Living homes... We are at nearly finished... Just landscaping and driveway to go! Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 64Jan 30, 2013 7:45 pm 1sttimebuilding2012 Maybe too many of us that went to Bella vista complained about the inequality... Lol Lucky for you, you still get the floating floor! Yeh, dilorenzo newcastle were so adamant that it was included... It shocks me that a type of floating floor is not included in the builders range considering it is so popular these days... We have had a couple of wins now, with the fridge space and the flooring, so we are overall, pretty happy. Just wish it would speed up a bit... Things seem to be dragging now... Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 65Jan 31, 2013 6:53 pm Just found out that our flooring choice (rajah teak), has been discontinued... Oh well, down to dilorenzo again to pick another... Apparently they have a new range in with some good replacement colours... Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 66Feb 01, 2013 8:37 pm We have progress on our road now... Hopefully the weather holds off so they can complete it. Seeing it is the central theme of our home, my fiancé and i would like to do it together! One of the colours that really caught my eye is below... Just need to see if the fiance agrees, and it matches the rest of our colours! Cant wait to see the finished product! We are using a splashback tile that dilorenzo are saying has never been used, so we are a little bit nervy... But should look awesome! The only change is that we are having a cantilevered benchtop added over the top of the washing machine space... A couple of hundred bucks, but will be worth it to finish it off and have it looking nice. Again, the price for the laundry is outrageous... But we want it ready to go for when we move in! Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 71Feb 08, 2013 7:38 pm Yes I think we will get it priced but hubby is so handy that he can do all this that he is hesitant - I think if you get it done by EB then no hassles - I suppose it will depend on the price in the end as I want some cupboards with a set in sink and bench space - and I believe it might be just too expensive. Our laundry is a bit longer and we have just extended it this afternoon - our puggies will be in there of a day - even looking at getting the air cond zoned for them. For that laundry setup, it was a tad over $2000 including the bench we are having put in.. I wish we could leave our dogs in the laundry, but they have a strange appetite for gyprock.... Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 73Feb 08, 2013 8:10 pm yeah - staffies are beautiful nature but can be a bit naughty - also some are expert escape artists. We used to have rotties and I love them but I always worried if they got out peoples reaction, even though mine always had great temperaments, so got a little pug - now hooked on them. They are great dogs... Pretty quirky... We will just be glad to kove as we have a really bad snake problem where we are at the moment... Our poor boy has been bitten twice, and our girl once.... And we have found at least 10 in the backyard! Really looking forward to moving over the other side of the road! Got some plans to have our WIR fitted out after handover.. Very very happy with the quote... Feel free to ask if anyone wants the name of the bloke. Re: benblinkau's Eden Brae Lawson 30 79Feb 20, 2013 2:24 pm @benblinkau where do you do your chopping and cutting? Reason I ask, is that you have your build-in bin right at the end of the island between your sink tray and the wall. I believe you do your chopping on the other side of the sink. Wouldn't it be more practical to have the bin where you "work" to shove the leftover straight into the bin? Hi Evelin, I suppose you could worry about that little distance but I think I prefer how benblinkau has the plan - the other units are all balanced, the bin is in the corner out of the way. We are probably not having a bin cupboard, intending to have our bin in the walk in pantry - so will have further to go I suppose we are all different.
