Hi all,
I'm looking at a good price per square metre. Does $1500 seem right, or should it be more like $1000 or more than $1500? No idea!

It depends!
You need to post a lot more information about your build, custom? Volume built?

Any special finishings?

Single storey?

Double storey?

Large? Small?

I found between 7 and 20K a square was the variance, custom tended to cost towards the upper end. Most people ended up around the 10K/square. Some custom builds were around 9K/square at cheapest.
If you divide the numbers by 9.29 you end up with a per-square price.

If you can stay close to 10K/square that's doing well. Just over $1000 sq/m.

I'm a bit under that for my custom build.
