I agree the two, three pendant lights will look really good in your kitchen. (I couldnt convince hubby to go against the rule of three trend) I will have to stay on H1 jst to keep an eye on your place. Re: Custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - White set started 1192Mar 21, 2013 11:59 am soakedblonde Big day on site today... grey float was finished and the white set started What!!! Your house is just speeding along now - I definitely have noticed the difference since the CLO and SS changes that the houses are just moving along - finally! Its looking great, you must be busting with excitement Re: Custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - White set started 1193Mar 21, 2013 6:10 pm Thanks everyone Everything is coming along very nicely and we are really pleased. We did get a phone call today to let us know they had an "issue" We are getting aquachek ceilings in the alfresco and verandahs so they wouldn't have the joins and plastic strip thingos that you normal get with exterior ceilings. Apparently because of the size of our alfresco and verandah they will need to put expansion joints in which means we will now have several 10mm x 10mm grooves in the ceiling It's a bit disappointing but there's no other option. melQ l only want 2 Lights too . . . they're these long tube lights Oooo that's a nice looking light!! I've not seen one like that before, its very pretty SarieM I will have to stay on H1 jst to keep an eye on your place. Yes please do!! I feel a bit left behind as most of the people I started the journey with are now happily living in their lovely homes and forgotten all about Homeone I made a purchase for the house today ( don't tell hubby ). Among other things, I've been looking for the 'perfect' clock for the living area and until today hadn't found any that were just right. Then I found this Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!! It will go sooooooooo well with the new furniture I've picked out for the area (but not allowed to buy yet because apparently things like driveways and liquid limestone for the alfresco and verandah are more important ) Our custom Gemmill Home in Bedfordale WA Build thread:https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=53788 Timeline on page 1 Re: Custom Gemmill home in Bedfordale WA - White set started 1194Mar 21, 2013 6:30 pm The clock is gorgeous!!! What a shame about the alfresco roof. Hopefully you wont really notice it too much. Always compromises is'nt there. What a shame about the alfresco roof. Hopefully you wont really notice it too much. Always compromises is'nt there. Thanks Charnley Yep, there's always compromises unfortunately I'm sure once we are living in the house we'll forgot all about the control joints (either that or I'll just never look up at the ceiling ) melQ Oh wow all the way from the US ... thats a great idea... ive been looking around for clocks but havnt found one that I love yet! ! Might just need to change where im looking I do 99% of my online shopping from the US - they just seem to have a much bigger range. The curtains for the bedrooms and study in the new house came from Amazon. I ended up with 12 pairs of curtains and a 8 piece comforter set including freight for $800. Similar curtains were going to cost around $1500 if I bought them here and god knows what the comforter set would have cost.
